Monday Boonah Veterans
Last Monday the Veterans played an Ambrose competition no results were handed in for the week.
Wednesday Sporters
Last Wednesday the Sporters played a Stroke 10–18 + 7-9 competition as well as putting, sponsored by R. Brooks and M. Crowther. The winner with 41 net was G. Searle, runner up was A. Featherstone with 43&2/3rd . The rundown went W. Gnech with 45, J. Potter, M. OReilly and B. Davey all with 45&1/3rd, next best was R. Brooks with 46&1/3rd, followed by W. Hall with 47 net. The putting competition was won by G. Sorensen with 17, while the best Gross was received by T. Lynch on a countback with 53.
The NTP on 13 was received by T. Lynch, 8/17 was received by L. Roberts and 9/18 was received by T. Lynch. This week will be the 1st round of Championships sponsored by Boonah Motel. Next week is the 2nd round of the Championships. The overall Championship Best Gross is being sponsored by Wayne Gnech.
Friendly Fridays
Last Friday 10 players played a Stableford10-18 event. The winner was M. Crowther with 20 pts, runner up was M. Leary with 18 pts, the rundown went to M. McGarity, P. Cooper and R. Brooks all with 17 pts. Starting time is 3pm.
Saturday
Last Saturday was Boonah Furniture Court Open Day thanks to Furniture Court. The overall winner with 66 net was G. Parker who won a mattress, the A Grade winner was G. Balharry with 68 net runner up J. McGrath with 72 net, the B Grade winner was M.Christensen on a count back from A. Hertweck both had 69 net, C Grade winner was C. Shannon on a count back from L. Vandenbrink both with 73 net, D. Grade winner was T. Ryan with 68 net runner up was J. Shine with 71 net, the rundown went to B. Freiberg and S. Bennet with 70 net, T. Weatherhead, G. Searle, P. Ledlie, and S. Francis all with 71 net, followed by M. Gnech, M. Grayson, with 72 net, while R. Philp, B. Beasley A. Bennett, A. Browning and P. Manitta all had 73 net.. The Medal of Medal winner for 2011 is M. Christensen. The Ladies Winner was G. Buganey with 69 net, runner up K Cook with 73 net. The ntp’s were received by G. Searle on 4/13 while the ladies was received by G. Buganey, 8/17 was received by A. Smith and 9/18 was received by A.Browning. The Pro Pin sponsored by Sugarloaf Bakery is currently being held by K. Draheim with 3.72m. This week is sponsored by the Fassifern Guardian, and is a Stableford competition as well as being the Monthly Mug playoff. Next week will be our Closing Day sponsored by F.
