Thanks to Jan Edwards who was our sponsor last week and the winner was Ellen Meagher with 38 stableford points. Runner-up was Jo McAntee 37, then Jan Baulch 33, Marg Kuhnemann 29, Linda Edwards 28, Maureen Maynard 26 and Meryl Tress 22. Marg won the pin shot on 4/13 and Jan Baulch on 8/17. Chips in’s for Linda on 15 and Meryl on 14. Wednesday is a Monthly medal sponsored by Hair Shine and also the 6th round of the WGQ Brooch competition. Next week we play for Jan Baulch’s trophy.

Wednesday the Sporters was sponsored by M Hassan & W Martin playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15. The winner was J Handley with 29 pts, runner up L Blunt with 28 pts. The run down went to J Worley 27 pts, followed by R Cuneo & J Lynch 25 pts and R Scells 24 pts. Pin shots were received by M Hassan on 4, J Handley received 8, while J Lynch received 9. Friendly Friday
Friendly Fridays had 15 players tee off playing a stableford competition. The winner was J Nunan ocb from D May with 22 pts, followed by M Hassan with 21 pts. The rundown went to K Reinholdsson & W Martin 20 pts, G Henderson & P King 19 pts, followed by G Philp & J Handley 18 pts. The pinshot was received by J Nunan while J Sippel received by NAGA.

Saturday we played a stroke/monthly medal competition sponsored by BP Aratula. The medal winner was A Gill with 66 net. The winner was T Weatherhead with 67 net, runner up K Eugarde 68 net ocb. The rundown went to J Yates, J Handley, M Gnech & W Gnech 68 net, followed by J McGrath & K Sawtell 70 net, D Forsyth, T Richardson, R Brooks, B Beasley, K Wilson & L Vandenbrink 71 net and G Philp, M O’Reilly & M Surawski 72 net. The Ladies winner was J McAntee with 72 net, runner up A Brown 76 net. Pin shots were received by K Eugarde & G Clutterbuck on 4/13, J Lynch & L Edwards received 8/17 while J Lynch received 9/18.
