Wednesday we will be playing a stableford competition sponsored by Lou Vandenbrink playing a 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6. Next week will be sponsored by D. Forsyth playing a 2 ball Ambrose 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15.
Friendly Friday
Friday there were 8 players playing a stableford 10-18 competition. The winner was G. Eviston, runner up T. Lynch followed by M. Leary & V. Wilson. The pin shot was won by Rob Brooks beating Herbie. Great Day for a friendly 9 holes, teeing off at 3 pm……………..See you there.
Saturday
Saturday was a club trophy. The winner with 70 net was P. Manitta, runner up P. Eggenhuizen on a count back from V. Christensen with 72 net. The rundown continued with A. Heit 74 net, B. Freiberg, M. Bennet, Simon Fahey & T. Domjahn all with 75 net. The ladies winner was A. Brown. The ntp’s were received by R. Cuneo on 8/17, the ladies A. Brown, while J. Handley received 9/18. The pro pin sponsored by Sugarloaf Bakery is currently held by T. Lynch with 3.6 m. This Saturday is sponsored by the Brisbane Boys playing a stableford/monthly mug. The next week is the Ray Chant Memorial sponsored by his family playing a stroke competition. Timesheets are out now.
Chookies
Sunday we have a small Social club. Chookies & Social players are welcomed at anytime after the social club have played their first 9, or ring the club if wanting to play before the Social club tees off, for further details.
