Veterans:
Monday the Veterans had 25 players tee off playing a stableford competition. The winner was T Russell with 37 pts, runner up D Forsyth with 36 pts ocb from S Bailey & R Humphrey. The ball run continued with R Holland & M Gray 35 pts, B May 34 pts followed by D Mortimer 33 pts and K Sawtell, G Philp, S Woolley, G Wellings & R Patrick 32 pts. Pin shots were received by J Gurney & C Petroholis while M Kuhnemann received the ladies. The Encouragement Award went to R Fitzgerald while the Members Draw jackpotted. Next week will be a stableford competition.
Ladies:
Wednesday the ladies played a single stableford competition, for M Zurvass’ trophy. The winner was H Roebig with 41 pts, runner up was A Brown with 40 pts. The ball run down went to A Tomlinson & D Kuhnemann with 39 pts. Pin shots went to D Kuhnemann & A Brown. Di also won the Accurate Drive. Next week will be a stableford competition.
Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters was by Sugarloaf Bakery playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition. The winner was R Scells with 29 pts, runner up was N Hooke with 28 pts. The ball run down went to G Eviston 26 pts, B Lawrance 25 pts followed by G Lutter, M O’Reilly & S Fahey with 24 pts. Pins shots were received by G Parker on 4 and D Forsyth received 9. The Dugandan Dice winner was G Searle with 5 Aces. This week the sporters will be sponsored by W Hall & B Sampson playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition. Next week will be sponsored by Boonah Jewellery & Gifts playing a stroke 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition.
Saturday:
Saturday was sponsored by Bendigo Bank playing a single stroke/monthly medal competition. The Mens winner was A Lutter with 67 net, runner up J Grimsey with 68 net, followed by W Maudsley 71 net, A Parker, N Pellin & K Sawtell 72 net and J Gurney & B Lawrance 73 net ocb. The ball run down went to B Gotke 73 net and A Heit, M O’reilly, J Handley, W Hill & H Perrem 74 net. The ladies winner was M Kuhnemann with 75 net, runner up J Wilson ocb with 77 net. Pin shots went to W Maudsley & M Maynard on 4/13, D Forsyth & A Leary received 8/17 while R Maudsley received 9/18. D Kuhnemann received the Accurate Drive. This week will be the K & L Forsyth Memorial playing a single stableford/monthly mug competition. Next week will be The Fassifern Rugby League Old Boys Open Day. This is a 7.30 & 12.30 shot gun start.
