Ladies
The ladies played a stableford competition for L Rhodes trophy. The winner was J Edwards with 37 pts, runner up J Pfingst with 33 pts. Other ladies who played were M Tress, M Maynard, J Briant & K Turner. Wednesday we play a stroke/monthly medal competition sponsored by Fassifern Pharmacy. This will be the 4th round of the WGQ Brooch and the 3rd round of the International Bowl competitions. Next week we play a stableford competition for K Cooks trophy.
Sporters
Wednesday the Sporters was sponsored by Dr David Yeates playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6. The winner was J Handley with 26 pts, runner up M Maudsley ocb from D Webster with 25 pts. R Cuneo received both pin shots on 13 & 17. The Dugandan Dice sponsored by the Dugandan Hotel was received by J Gillett. This week will be sponsored by Maudsley Brothers at BP Boonah playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition. Next week will be sponsored by J Dover (FIS Insurance Brokers) playing a 2 person ambrose 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition.
Friendly Friday
Friendly Fridays had 27 players tee off playing a stroke back 9 competition for Big Money Day. The winner was C Greet with 34 net ocb from runner up A Stick and P King. The run down went to G Philp 35 net and N Hooke 36 net. The Pin shots were received by M Hassan, V Riley & L Edwards while the NAGA was received by L Rhodes. G Philp received the best gross with 40 off the stick
Saturday
Saturday was sponsored by M O’Reilly, D Forsyth & J Gillett playing a stroke/monthly medal competition. The winner & monthly medal was J Yates with 66 net, runner up G Eviston with 69 net, followed by R Tichardson & M Hassan 70 net, and P Francis & W Hall 71 net. The run down went to G Philp 71 net, G Lutter & R Humphrey 73 net, followed by W Wieland, D Mortimer, P King & T Lynch 74 net and R Brooks, K Wilosn, K Rhodes & R Philp 75 net. The ladies winner was A Brown with 74 net, runner up A Leary ocb from L Edwards & Z Eviston with 76 net.. Pin shots were received by V Riley & K Turner on 4/13, M Hassan & A Leary received 8/17 while K Rhodes received 9/18. The Pro Pin on 4 is sponsored by Drummond Golf and currently held by B Davey with 3.3m. The Pro Pin on 17 is sponsored by Sugarloaf Bakery and currently held by P Francis with 3.13m. The Money Pin was received by A Heit. This week will be the Noel Dover Memorial sponsored by Dover & Sons playing a stableford/monthly mug competition. Next week will be the Chappy Cup. This is a 4 Ball Abmbrose competition with am & pm shotgun starts.
