Ladies
Only a small field played for Fran Licciardo’s trophy last Wednesday and Fran was on hand to present her trophy to Jo McAntee who had 36 stableford points. Her runner-up prize went to Marg Kuhnemann with 35. Other scores were Anne Brown 32, Jan Baulch 31, Linda Edwards 28, Jenny Briant 26, Vicki Bird 21 and Lesley received an easter treat for the Madam Golfer. Pin shots went to Marg and Jo and Linda Edwards and Marg both had “chip in’s”. Fran is only a social member now so a big thank you for your continued support of the Wednesday girls. Wednesday sporters’ was sponsored by D Forsyth playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition. The winner was W Wieland with 30 pts, runner up J McGrath with 29 pts. The run down went to B Sampson 28 pts, R Wilkie 26 pts, followed by J Handley & B King 25 pts and J Potter, G Lutter & D Webster 24 pts. The Boonah Mechanics Chook Run is open to anybody wanting to play 9 holes of golf. This week the Chook Run was won by E Shaw with 23 pts, runner up M Ferguson with 22 pts. The ntp was received by L Hooke. Booking will be essential as we have a big Social Club this week, no buggies will be available until they have finished their round.
