Veterans
Monday the Veterans played a stroke competition for their championships. The winner with 67 net was M Hassan, runner up A Jackson 71 net, followed by M Crowther 75 net ocb. The rundown went to W Martin 75 net, V Christensen 76 net and A Featherstone & J Potter 77 net. Both pin shots 4/13 & 8/17 were received by A Jackson while R Featherstone received 8/17. The Champion for 2016 was M Hassan with 141, runner up V Christensen 148. Congratulations.
Ladies
Wednesday the ladies played a stableford competition for the Annette Geiger Memorial. The winner with 43 pts was A Leary, runner up was V Bird ocb from J Baulch with 38 pts. Pin shots were received by J Edwards on 4/13 while 8/17 was received by J Baulch. This week will be a stroke/monthly medal competition for a club trophy. Next week will be sponsored by J Newlove.
Sporters
Wednesday the Sporters played a stroke 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition sponsored by Sugarloaf Bakery. The winner was B Brown ocb from runner up B May with 44 net. The run down went to W Gnech 46 net, L Blunt & I Browning 47 net, followed by S Fahey, M Hassan & G Searle 48 net and B Davey & A Stick 49 net. Pin shots were received by G Parker on 4, 8 was received by L Blunt while J Browning received 9. The Best Gross for the day was received by W Gnech, while H Gwynne was the Dice winner sponsored by the Dugandan Hotel. Friendly Friday
Friendly Fridays had 24 players tee off playing a stroke front 9 competition for Big Money Day. The winner was C Shannon with 31 net, runner up L Edwards ocb from K Reinholdsson with 34 net. The run down went to S Edwards 35 net and N Hooke 36 net. The pinshots were received by T Alchin, A Leary & M Hassan while the Encouragement Award was received by A Leary.
Saturday
Saturday was sponsored by Boonah Furniture Court playing a single stroke/monthly medal competition. The winner & monthly medal winner was P Manitta with 67 net, runner up G Philp with 68 net, followed by J Browning 70 net. The run down went to I Browning, R Fitzgerald & N Hooke 71 net, A Hertweck 72 net, followed by M Weber, S O’Connell, L Blunt & A Featherstone 73 net, S Edwards, J McGrath & P King 74 net and S Mudde & D Forsyth 75 net. Ntps were received by K Cook & R Eacott on 4/13, K Cook & G Lutter received 8/17 while G Balharry received 9/18. The Pro Pin on 4 is sponsored by Drummond Golf is currently held by J Browning with 3.36m, while the Pro Pin on 17 sponsored by Sugarloaf Bakery is currently held by G Lutter with 3.48m.
