Ladies
Wednesday the ladies played for Shelagh Zimmers Trophy. The winner with 36 pts was K. Cook, runner up A. Brown 35 pts. Pin shots were received by D. Kuhnemann on 4/13 while 8/17 was received by A. Brown. Thanks to the Austalian Hotel for their sponsorship of our pinshots. Wednesday will be the Monthly Medal for September.
Sporters
Wednesday the sporters was sponsored by Don Webster playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6. The winner was A. Stick from runner up R. Scells and B. Brown all with 26pts followed by E. Newlove with 25 pts. The pin shots were received by J. McGrath on 13, R. Cuneo received 17 while 18 was received by S. Fahey. Thanks to the Dugandan Hotel for their sponsorship of the dice won by G. Parker. This week will be sponsored by Sel Pfeffer playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15. Next week will be sponsored by Scott Bennet playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6. The first 18 hole shot gun start will be on the 25th September. The Annual Pub day will be held on the 16th October.
Friendly Friday
The Friendly Friday’s had 14 players, playing a stroke 1-9 competition. The winner was R. Fitzgerald ocb from runner up A. Featherstone with 30 net followed by R. Featherstone with 32 net. The pin shots were received by B. Jones on 3, the 4th A. Skinner while the 8th was received by B. Jones. Friday we will be teeing off at 3pm for the summer season. Saturday was the Boonah Rotary Club Open Day. The Overall Winner with 41 pts was V. Christensen. The A Grade winner with 40 pts was J. McGrath, runner up W. Gnech 39 pts followed by D. Mortimer 37 pts, T. Lynch 35 pts and G. Parker 34 pts. The B. Grade winner was M. Gnech 41 pts, runner up M. Simpson 38 pts, followed by S. Bennet, A. Hertweck and T. Richardson with 36 pts. The C Grade winner was J. Shine 41 pts, runner up B. Brown 39 ocb from M. Surawski and M. McGarrity, followed by R. Fitzgerald 37 pts. The ladies winner was K. Turner 39 pts, runner up J. Edwards 36 pts followed by S. Bennet 34 pts and A. Brown 33 pts. The Social Winner was P. Davey, runner up M. Davey. The pin shots were received by V. Christensen on 1/10, G. Eviston on 2/11, B. Davey 3/12, 4/13 & 5/14 V. Christensen, 6/15 B. May 7/16 B. Davey, 8/17 was received by R. Eacott and 9/18 was received by C. Shannon. The ladies pin shots were received by D. Wall 4/13 while 8/17 was received by K. Cook. The pro pin sponsored by Sugarloaf Bakery was won by A. Brown with .72 m. The long drives were received D. Mortimer (A. Grade), G. Philp (B. Grade), S.
