Monday Boonah Veterans
The winner for Veterans comp last Monday was A Henderson having 38 points and the runner up having a count back of 37 points was V Riley followed by V Wilson also having 37 points.
Wednesday Sporters
Last Wednesday JR Plant Hire (Aaron Lutter) held a 2 Ball Ambrose 10-18+7-9 event for his trophy day, the winners being Don Webster and Merv Matthews having 45 ¾ between them and the runners up were Peter Burkett and G Parker having 47 following in the rundown were A Featherstone and L Vandenbrink having 47 ¾ and M O’Reilly and E Newlove had 48. The NTP on number 13 was received by M O’Reilly, number 8/17 was received by P Burkett and 9/18 was received by M Matthews. This week we play a single stroke 1-9 for Elwyn Newlove and Murray O’Reilly’s Trophy day and the following week we play a single Stableford 10-18+7-9 for Geoff Parker’s trophy day.
Friendly Fridays
The Friday Friendly crew had 9 players playing a single Stableford 10-18 and the winner for the afternoon was Rob Brooks having 22 points and the runner up was Arthur Featherstone having 20 points following in the rundown were L Brasington and C Greet each having 17 points and M MCGarrity finished up with 16 points.Tee off time is 2.30pm, bring a friend anyone welcome to play.
Saturday
Last Saturday seen Cap Bruckner’s Memorial Golf Day, playing a single stroke A,B and C Grade for the men and ladies comp/monthly medal. The monthly medal winner was Gordy Philp having 65 nett. The mens A Grade winner for the day was visitor Ron Roberts having 65 nett, B Grade winner was Gordy Philp having 65 nett and C Grade winner was Dr. David Yeates having a count back on 67 nett. The rundown consisted of A Smith, B Beasley, G Sippel, S Hughes and T Farmers each having 67 nett, P Dadds had 68 nett, E Andrew, R McGrath and C Philp had 69 nett, S Francis and J Comp each had 68 nett, J McGrath, G Ball, B Hoskin, S O’Çonnell, J Browning and A Browning had 70 nett and Stu Fahey, J Bonk, M O’Reilly, S Mudde and V Riley each finished up with 71 nett. The ladies winner for the day was Gillian Buganey having 66 nett and the runner up was Karen Draheim having 67 nett. The ladies NTP on 4/13 was received by G Buganey and the mens NTP on 4/13 was received by J McGrath, 8/17 was received by G Philp and 9/18 was received by W Draheim, Brendan Beasley also had an Eagle. This week we have Lions Open Day playing a single Stableford A,B & C Grade and Ladies, supporting Carflight. The following week we have a Club Trophy day playing a single stroke event and the following week is the U.G.L.Y Bartender Golf Day, help Kellie raise money for Leukaemia. Full on month of golf, timesheets are out now for these events.
Chookies
Brendan Shannon was our chookie winner having 19 points and Jason Grimsey also had 19 points, chookies has been carried from 1/05/11 to 8/05/11. Chookies may tee off before 7am only.
