Ladies
Wednesday the ladies played a Monthly Medal stroke & putting competition. The winner was Anne Brown with 75 net, runner up Jan Edwards with 77 net. The putting was won by Maureen Maynard with 28 putts. Wednesday the ladies will play the Monthly Medal for April.
Sporters
Wednesday the Sporters was sponsored by Wayne Gnech playing an 18 hole stableford competition. The winner was S. Edwards ocb from runner up W. Maudsley with 42 pts. The run down went to M. O’Reilly 41 pts, followed by W. Hall & E. Newlove 39 pts and D. Webster, B. Hutchinson & A. Holt all with 38 pts. Nearest the pins were received by R. Cuneo on 4/13, A. Featherstone 8/17 while S. Fahey received 9/18. This week will be sponsored by Aaron Gill playing a stroke 1-9 + 10, 14 &15. Next week will be sponsored by Far Outdoors & More playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6.
Saturday
Saturday was sponsored by R. W. Ramsey and was the Monthly Medal for March. The winner and Monthly Medal winner was S. Buchholz on a count back from runner up M. Grayson with 67 net, followed by B. May, R. Watkins & S. Edwards all with 39 net. The run down continued with G. Philp, G. Eviston & D. Mortimer with 70 net, S. Fahey 71 net followed by G. Miller, V. Riley, M. Gnech, B. Freiberg, A. Heit & A. Bennett all with 72 net. The ladies winner was A. Brown with 75 net, runner up D. Wall with 76 net. The pin shots were received by A. Heit on 1/10, S. Fahey 2/11, A. Heit 3/12, T. Grimshaw 4/13 while the ladies was A. Brown, 5/14 S. Fahey, 6/15 B. Freiberg, 7/16 G. Eviston, 8/17 A. Mitchell, the ladies A. Brown, and 9/18 A. Bennett. The pro pin sponsored by Sugarloaf Bakery was won by A. Mitchell with 58 cm. Saturday will be sponsored by D. Yeates & C. Shannon playing a stroke Monthly Medal (this will be the 2nd round of the Pro Steam Cup. Next Saturday will be sponsored by V. Riley, S. Mudde & T. Weatherhead playing a Stableford/Monthly Mug competition.
Sunday
There is a Social club teeing off at 7.30 as well as a party in the afternoon. Probably no Social play allowed on the day. Players can ring the club for further information.
