Sporters
Wednesday the sporters was a club trophy playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15. The winner with 26 pts was L. Vandenbrink, runner up W. Hall on a count back from B. Hutchinson & G. Parker with 22 pts. Nearest the pins were received by R. Cuneo on 4, A. Skinner 8 while G. Parker received 9. This week will be sponsored by M. McGarrity playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6. Next week will be sponsored by J. Potter playing a stroke 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15.
Friendly Friday
Last week the Friendly Friday had 14 players playing a stroke 1-9 competition. The winner was A. Heit with 35 net on a count back from runner up V. Wilson & A. Stick. The pin shot on the 4th was received by Simon Fahey, the second shot on the 8th was also received by Simon Fahey while the 3rd shot on 9 was received by G. Eviston. Was a Good roll up so come along and play a friendly 9 holes, teeing off at 3 pm……………..See you there.
Saturday
The competition was called off on Saturday as it was too wet and is postponed until the 30th March. This week is the Greenkeepers Day, hopefully it will be fine and sunny. Plenty of prizes on offer, the timesheet is filling up fast if wanting a game. The club will also have a limited meal offer going after the game, so if not wanting to cook a meal when you go home, or you are being picked up after the game or you can take a meal home with you. This will be a trial offer so please utilize it so we can gauge if it will be worth our while putting these meals on.
