Ladies:
No Ladies results this week as they played 17 holes before being washed out. This week will be a single stroke/monthly medal competition sponsored by Anna’s Hair. Next week will be a stableford competition, this will be the 3rd round of the Consistency Cup.
Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters were sponsored by A Lutter from JR Plant Hire playing a 2 ball Ambrose 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition. The winners were W Maudsley & J McGrath with 42 net, runners up were G Parker & B Beasley with 44 net. The ball run down went to B Lawrance & S Bailey 45½, S Fahey & G Eviston 45¾, W Maudsley & J Handley 47 net followed by T Russell & D Beazley 47¼ and R Lawrie & P Gerhardt 47½. Pin shots were received by W Maudley on 13, S Fahey received 17 while B Beasley received 18. The Dugandan Dice winner was K Rhodes with 5 Aces. This week will be sponsored by B Lawrance & B Beasley playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition. Next week will be sponsored by G Parker & L Blunt playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition.
Saturday:
Saturday we played the Beasley Bash, kindly sponsored by J Beasley from Boonah Panel Repairs, playing a single stroke competition. The winner was S Bennett ocb from runner up brother T Bennett with 64 net, The Ladies winner was J Wilson with 73 net, runner up B Dover ocb with 74 net. The prize run down went to C Bell 79 net, B Lawrance & P Gerhardt 70 net followed by S Lutter, G Clarke, D Beazley & J Browning 72 net, A Parker, B Freiberg, D Mortimer & L Blunt 73 net and M O’Reilly, A Heit, B Gotke & G Philp 74 net ocb. The Social winner was J Jenness with 73 net. Pin Shots were received by B May on 1/10, C Bell received 2/11, K Sawtell received 3/12, P Gerhardt & A Leary received 4/13, T Alchin received 5/14, S Fahey received 6/15, M Penn & S Dean received 8/17 while S Bailey received 9/18. The Accurate Drive was won by J Grimsey. The Long Drive was won by A Bennett. This week will be will be the Canine Helpers Open Day. This will be a 12.30 shot gun start. Next week will be the start of our Championships playing single stroke competitions on both Saturday & Sunday this week as well as the following week.
