Veterans:
Monday the Veterans had 28 players tee off playing a stableford competition. The winner was B May with 37 pts, runner up G Philp with 35 pts. The ball run went to D Mortimer & L Blunt 34 pts, D Forsyth & D Beazley 33 pts and R Stinson, E Meagher & J Gurney 32 pts. Pin shots were received by R Stinson & D Dann while A Brown received the ladies. The Encouragement Award went to M Kuhnemann while the Members Draw jackpotted. Next week will be a 2 ball Ambrose competition.
Ladies:
Wednesday the ladies played a single stableford competition. The winner was L Edwards with 37 pts runner up A Tomlinson with 32 pts.
Thursday the ladies played their Open Day with visitors from Gailes, Laidley, Beaudesert, Carbrook, Sandy Gallop, Stanthorpe, Pacific, McLeod, Caboolture, Gatton, Rosewood & Wynnum. The Overall Winner was J Wilson from Boonah with 40 pts. Division 1 winner was R Englund from Sandy Gallop with 36 pts, runner up K Turner from Boonah with 35 pts. Division 2 winner was A Tomlinson ocb from D Kuhnemann with 35 pts, both from Boonah. Division 3 winner was S Grace with 37 pts, runner up H Roebig with 32 pts. Again both from Boonah. The nearest the pins were received by R Englund, A Tomlinson & T Reid Pocock. The Accurate Drives were received by C Stemberg (Laidley), J Kuhle (Gatton) & T Reid Pocock (Boonah). The Mystery Drive was received by J Grey from Wynnum.
Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters played the Fassifern Pub Day, playing a stableford 1-9 hole competition. The winners were the Commercial with 101 pts, runners up were Simons 2 with 100 pts followed by Dugandan with 99 pts. Pin shots were received by B Kennaugh on 8 while A Gill received 9. The individual winner for the day was G Parker with 21 pts, runner up B Brown ocb with 20 pts. This week will be sponsored by Boonah Mitre 10 playing a 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 stableford competition. Next week will be sponsored by R Brooks & M Crowther playing a single stroke 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition. There will be a prize for the least putts.

Saturday we played a single stroke competition kindly sponsored by The Butcher Co. The winner was N Pellin with 64 net, runner up P Dadds with 65 net. The Ladies winner was K Turner with 73 net, runner up Z Eviston with 74 net. The ball run down went to K Milligan (Kenny had an Eagle on 6) & W Hill 67 net, M Herrington 69 net, I Pocock 71 net, J Beasley & G Grimsey 72 net, R Humphrey, B Lawrance & G Hunt 74 net followed by G Philp, C Shannon, N Toohey & J Browning 75 net, M O’Reilly, T Britton, J Grimsey, J Briant, E Meaghr & D Wall 76 net and W Gnech, A Lutter & S Edwards 77 net. Pin shots went to P Dadds & D Wall on 4/13, B May & A Brown received 8/17 while S Lutter received 9/18. R Brooks & E Meagher received the Accurate Drives.
