Veterans: Monday the Veterans had 25 players play a stableford competition. The winner was W Bodetti with 37 pts, runner up N Hooke with 34 pts ocb. The run down went to J Crichton 34 pts, P Cooper & M Hassan 33 pts followed by M Gray, K Kirgis, A Stick & T Lynch with 32 pts. The mens pinshots were received by K Kirgis and W Bodetti while K Cook & M Kuhnemann received the ladies. The Encouragement Award was received by G Sorensen while the membership draw was won by R Patrick. Tomorrow we are off to Beaudesert for their Fassifern Day. Next week will be a stableford competition.
Ladies: Sunday was Foursomes Championship day and our winners again were Kaylene Turner and Dot Wall with a score of 144 gross for 27 holes. Congratulations ladies! Other gross scores were Meryl Tress and Jo McAntee 146, Maureen Maynard and Alison Leary 147, Anne Brown and Linda Hooke 149, Jill Pfingst and Jan Baulch 150, Di and Marg Kuhnemann 154 and Kris Cook and Jan Edwards 161. Nett winners were Maureen and Alison on 117 and then Anne and Linda 117 ½. This was a full contingent of lady members except for those who were unwell so well done for competing. Last Wednesday was sponsored by our long time member Clair Wieland who continues to support the Wednesday ladies even tho she does not play anymore. Sunday: Sunday we played the mens & ladies foursome championships. The Mens Champions are J Browning & J Gurney with 121, runners up were S Fahey & B Gotke with 122. The net winners were C & B Perrem with 104¾, runners up were B May & G Eviston with 107½. Sunday we have 2 Social Clubs using all the buggies.
