Veterans
Last Monday the Veterans played a stableford competition. The winner on a count back with 37 pts was C. Shannon from runner up N. Casey. The rundown started with A. Featherstone with 34 pts, followed by T. Richardson 33 pts, D. Yeates & B. Bennett both with 32 pts and M. Cufi & T. Lynch with 31 pts. Ntp’s were received by C. Greet on 4/13, 8/17 M. Cufi while the ladies was received by K. Cook. The Encouragement Award went to A. Henderson while the members draw jackpotted.
Wednesday Sporters
Last Wednesday the Sporters played 18 hole Stableford competition sponsored by Hal Gwynne. The winner with 46 pts was B. Beasley. Runner Up was V. Riley with 43 pts. The run down went to Stuart Fahey with 41 pts, R. Humphrey 37 pts and L. Vandenbrink with 36 pts. Nearest the pins were received by B. Beasley 1/10, M. McGarrity 2/11, G. Searle 4/13, B. Beasley 6/15 with an Eagle, B. Davey 8/17 while 9/18 was received by B. Beasley. The NAGA was received by D. Webster. This week is a 2 Ball Ambrose playing 1-9 + 10,14 &15 sponsored by J R Plant Hire (Aaron Lutter). Next week is a Stroke 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 sponsored by E. Newlove & M. O’Reilly.
Friendly Fridays
We didn’t have any Friendly Friday’s on Friday due to the wet weather. Come along and play this Friday and see if Champion golfer Bob Jones can get his hat trick this week.
Saturday
Last Saturday was sponsorerd by Mike Gnech for the 3rd round of the Championships. The winner with was R. Webster on a count back from runner up B. Freiberg. The run down went to T. Farmers 74 net, A. Bennett and B. Hutchinson both had 75 net, P. Eggenhuizen & J. Browning 76 net, followed by B. Hoskin 77 net, Simon Fahey & L. Vandenbrink 78 net and G. Philp with 79 net. Ntps were received by G. Maynard on 4/13 the ladies was received by S. Reid, 8/17 was received by T. Farmers, the ladies was received by K. Turner, while 9/18 was received by W. Lutter. The ladies winner was K. Cook with 78 net, runner up A. Brown with 84 net. The pro pin sponsored by Sugarloaf Bakery was won by Simon Fahey with 1.40 metres.
Sunday we played the 4th and final round of the Championships sponsored by our Patron J. Maynard. The winner with 67 net was J. Browning, runner up was A. Gill with 71 net. The rundown went B. Freiberg, T. Domjahn & J. Worley 72 net, G. Maynard 73 net, followed by S. Mudde, M. McGarrity 74 net and R. Cuneo, W. Lutter, A. Browning and J. Comp with 75 net. The ntp’s were received by B. Hutchinson on 4/13, ladies D. Wall, 8/17 was received by G. Parker, the ladies was received by D. Wall and 9/18 was received by R. Eacott. The Ladies was won by K. Turner on a count back from runner up A. Brown with 83 net. Next week will be the May Monthly Medal sponsored by the Kooralbyn Boys Ian, Peter, Tim and Garry.

Cook and C. Grade M. Maynard.
