Veterans
Monday the Veterans played a stableford competition. The winner was W Martin with 40 pts, runner up J Potter 39 pts ocb from M Hassan. The run down continued with G Sorenson & D Yeates 38 pts, D Beazley & G Noe 37 pts followed by J Shine, M Sim & V Wilson 35 pts. Pin Shots were received by D Beazley on 4/13 while J Shine & L Hooke receied 8/17. C Shannon received the Encouragement Award.
Ladies
Wednesday the ladies didn’t play due to the wet weather. This week will a stableford competition for another club trophy. Next week will be a stroke/monthly medal competition. This will be the 6th round of WGQ Brooch.
Sporters
Wednesday the sporters didn’t play due to the wet conditions. This week will sponsored by S Pfeffer playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15. Next week will be sponsored by S Bennett playing stroke 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6.
Friendly Fridays’
Friendly Fridays’ had 21 players tee off playing a stroke front 9 competition for Big Money Day. The winner was D May with 30 net, runner up W Martin ocb from T Alchin with 31 net. The run down went to B May 33 net, M Hassan & C Greet 34 net and P Cooper & J McAntee 35 net. The best gross for the day went to T Alchin with 40 off the stick. The pinshots were received by P King & W Martin. The Encouragement Award went to V Riley. We are now teeing off at 3pm.
Saturday
Saturday was the Boonah Rotary Club Open Day. The Overall winner was S Bailey with 41 pts. The A Grade winner was P King with 38 pts, runner up A Bennett ocb from B Freiberg & C Perrem with 36 pts, followed by G Parker 35 pts ocb. The B Grade winner was D Beazley with 36 pts ocb from runner up M Gnech followed by J Handley, B Philp & J Buganey 34 pts. The C Grade winner was M Weber with 38 pts, runner up S Mudde ocb from T Weatherhead with 35 pts, followed by B Brown 34 pts and R Fitzgerald 33 pts. The Social winner was J Beasley with 71 net, runner up G Tomlin 77 net. The Ladies winner was A Leary with 37 pts, runner up A Brown 34 pts followed by L Hooke 32 pts. Pinshots were on all holes and received by T Alchin on 1/10 & 6/15, 2/11 was received by G Parker, B Freiberg received 3/12 while by G Selleck & J McAntee received 4/13, C Perrem received 5/14, 7/16 went to J McGrath while 8/17 was received by J Handley & G Buganey and B Beasley received 9/18. The Pro Pin on 4 sponsored by Drummond Golf was won by R Brooks with 3.27m. The Pro Pin on 17 is sponsored by Sugarloaf Bakery and won by J Handley. The Money Pin was received by J McGrath. There were long drives for all divisions and were received by C Perrem, S O’Connell, M Weber & A Brown. The Mystery Drive was received by P Manitta while D Kuhnemann received the NAGA. This week will be a stroke/monthly medal competition sponsored by Aratula BP. Next week will be sponsored by Peak Pool Performance playing a stableford/monthly mug competition.
Sunday
This Sunday there is no social club. Social players can play whenever they want to but if wanting a buggy the clubhouse will be open at 8.30. Ring the club for further details.
