Veterans:
Monday the Veterans played a stableford competition. The winner was C Shannon with 36 pts, runner up S Dennis with 35 pts. The run down went to P De Beus & W Delaney 34 pts, R Stinson, K Kirgis, M Gray & C Petroholis 32 pts, followed by A Swift, D Forsyth & L Blunt 31 pts and A McNeill & M Sim 30 pts. The Members Draw was won by R Holland, while the Encouragement Award went to B Murphy. Next week will be a 2 ball Ambrose competition.
Ladies:
Wednesday the Ladies played a Stableford competition, for a club trophy. The winner was S Edwards with 35 pts, runner up A Brown ocb from H Roebig & L Edwards with 31 pts. The Accuracy Drive was won by V Bird.
Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters was sponsored by The Dover Family for the Joe Dover Memorial, playing a stroke 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition. The winner was A Stick with 46 net, runner up W Hall with 48 net. The ball run down went to N Hooke, R Fitzgerald, M Gray, B Beasley & D Forsyth with 49 net. The Dugandan Dice winner was K Kirgis. Pin Shot draws went to R Fitzgerald, J Browning & M Hassan. The best gross for the day was J Browning with 51 off the stick. This week Sporters will be sponsored by D Webster playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition. Next week will be sponsored by W Gnech playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition.
Friendly Friday:
Friendly Friday had 6 players tee off playing a stableford back 9 competition. The winner was S Bailey with 19 pts. The NAGA went to J Gurney. This is now running back to the old format of handicapping. Be there at least by 2.45 for a 3 pm start.
Saturday:
Saturday was sponsored by T Hollands Funerals playing a stableford competition. The A Grade winner was D Green ocb from P McNiven & R Higgs with 36 pts. B Grade winner was R Maudsley with 40 pts, runner up C Wilson with 37 pts followed by B Davey with 34 pts. C Grade winner was M Dickson with 42 pts, runner up N Pellin with 40 pts followed by C Shannon with 35 pts. The Ladies winner was M Tress with 38 pts, runner up A Brown ocb from J Wilson with 37 pts. The ball run down went to J McGrath 36 pts, K Sawtell 35 pts followed by S Lutter, G Grimsey, S Edwards, A Leary, K Milligan, K Bridges, P King, L Blunt & B Beasley with 34 pts.
