Ladies
We played a fun team game last Wednesday called a “Tiger Stableford”. This is a 2 person team where the points are multiplied together on each hole. Winners were Marg Kuhnemann and Jenny Briant with 76 total. Jenny was the lynch pin as she and Maureen Maynard had 69, then came Jan Baulch and Juleen Sippel on 63,Anne Brown and Jan Edwards on 54, Anne and Jo McAntee 51, and Juleen and Linda Edwards 46. The individual winner was Jenny 40, Runner-up Anne 36, Margaret 35, Jan Baulch 34, Juleen and Maureen 32, Jan Edwards 30, Jo McAntee 30. Pin shots were Maureen 4/13 and Jo was in the hole on 8/17. Today we play for Jan Edward’s trophy and next week being the beginning of the month is a stroke round for monthly medal.

Sporters
Wednesday the Sporters was sponsored by K Rhodes playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6. The winner was A Featherstone with 27 pts ocb from runner up B Brown. The run down went to R Brooks, M Crowther & A Stick 26 pts and K Rhodes 25 pts. Pin shots were received by R Brooks on 13, G L:utter received 17, while W Wieland received 18. The Dugandan Dice sponsored by the Dugandan Hotel was received by M Maudsley. This week will be sponsored by M Hassan & W Martin playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15. Friendly Fridays 24 players tee off playing a stroke competition for Big Money Day. The winner was M Hassan with 30 net, runner up L Rhodes 31 net followed by J Handleywith 32 net ocb from V Riley. The rundown continued with S Riley, Shannon & M Crowther 33 net, followed by R Eacott & L Hooke 34 net, K Rhodes 35 net and G Henderson & W Martin 36 net. Pinshots were received by R Eacott, M Hassan & W Martin while K Sawtell received by NAGA. The best gross for the day went to S Riley with 42. Next week we play a stableford front 9 competition.
Saturday
Saturday we played the Boonah Rotary Club Open Day. The Overall winner was B Brown with 42 pts. The A Grade winner was N Toohey with 38 pts, runner up P King 37 pts followed by B May 35 pts, K Wilson & T Lynch 34 pts and J McGrath 33 pts ocb. The B Grade winner was G Lutter with 39 pts, runner up W Martin 36 pts followed by M Hassan, S Riley, D Mortimer & K Sawtell 33 pts. The C Grade winner was M Crowther with 40 pts, runner up R Fitzgerald 39 pts followed by D Yeates 38 pts, A Stick 37 pts, C Shannon 35 pts and A Featherstone 34 pts. The Ladies winner was A Leary ocb from D Wall with 38 pts, followed by J Edwards 37 pts and M Kuhnemann 35 pts. The Social Winner was J Beasley. Pin shots were on all holes and received by S Edwards on 1/10, B May received 2/11, A Hertweck received 3/12 while A Featherstone & J Edwards received 4/13, 5/14 was received by J McGrath, 6/15 was received by C Perrem, N Toohey received 7/16 while S Bailey & D Wall received 8/17 and J McGrath received 9/18. The Long Drives were received by W Gnech, K Sawtell, J Handley and D Wall, while the Mystery Drive was received by K Cook.
