Veterans: Monday the Veterans had a field of 26 play a stableford competition. The winner was M Gray ocb from runner up A Stick with 40 pts. The ball run down went to P Moran 37 pts, E Windolf, G Hunt & T Russell 36 pts, followed by P Cooper & K Rhodes 35 pts and R Parnell, J Edwards, D Forsyth & G Philp 34 pts. Pin Shots were received by D Forsyth & T Russell while E Meagher received the ladies. The Members Draw Jackpotted while L Rhodes received the Encouragement Award. Tomorrow is the Boonah Fassifern Day. Next week will be a stableford competition.
Ladies: Marlene Zurvas, a past member of the club continues to sponsor ladies golf and the winner for her day was Vicki Bird with 34 stableford points. Runner-up was Margie Kuhnemann on a countback from Jill Pfingst and Jenny Briant 33, then Anne Brown 30, Jo McAntee 28, Di Kuhnemann 27, Kris Cook 24, Meryl Tress and Anna Tomlinson 23. Nicki Mulligan also played and Go Girl graduate Barb Hamilton put in a handicap card. Pin shots went to Kris and Jill and Anne was the winner of the money line. Sporters: Wednesday the sporters played the Fassifern Pub Day playing a stableford, back 9 competition. The winner was R Maudsley ocb from runner up R Fitzgerald with 23 pts. The run pub winners were Dugandan Hotel with 118, runners up Australian Hotel 105 followed by Simons Tavern with 98 pts. Pin shot was received by R Eacott on 13.
