Veterans
Monday the Veterans played a stableford competition. The winner with 44 pts was P. Sheffield, runner up on a count back was A. Featherstone from T. Lynch, both had 39 pts. Next best was I. Smith with 35pts, D. Yeates, M. McGarrity & G. Sippel all with 33 pts. Nearest the pins were received by N. Casey on 4/13, while B. Jones received 8/17 and A. Brown received the ladies on 8/17. The membership draw of $60 was won by Arthur Featherstone
Wednesday Sporters
Last week the sporters was sponsored by Dr Yeates playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6. The winner with 32 pts was Scott Bennet, runner up was G. Parker with 26 pts. The rundown went to B. Freiberg (Brad had an Eagle on the 15th), A. Bennett, W. Maudsley & B. Brown all with 25 pts. Nearest the pins were received by Stuart Fahey on 13, G. Parker on 17, while J. Browning received 18. This week will be BP Boonah playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competiton. Next week will be a 2 ball Ambrose competition playing 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 sponsored by AIS Insurance Brokers. A reminder on Sunday 22nd July there will be a Fun Day playing a 2 – 3 team Ambrose. This will be a 9 hole Shotgun start at 1.15. A timesheet is out now or you can come and register before 1pm on the day.
Friendly Fridays
We had 7 Friendly Friday’s play a stableford front 9 competition. The winner on a count back was G. Eviston from runner up M. McGarrity with 20 pts, followed by M. Crowther with 18 pts. Tee off time is now 2.30. Please feel free to come along and enjoy a great afternoon, friendly atmosphere and even a drink before an evening meal.
Saturday
Saturday we played a Monthly Medal sponsored by J. Gillett, M. O’Reilly & D. Forsyth. The winner of A Grade was R. Cuneo on a count back from T. Moller with 69 net. B. Grade winner was J. Handley with 70 net, runner up W. Jackson with 73 net. C. Grade winner was R. Worley on a count back from K. Eugarde both with 72 net. The rundown went to B. Freiberg & G. Balharry with 71 net, M. McGarrity 72 net, followed by T. Lynch, G. Eviston & S. Francis with 74 net. The ntp’s were received R. Humphrey on 4/13, the ladies was received by J. Baulch, 8/17 was received by M. Simpson & 9/18 was received by G. Ball. The Accurate Drive was very accurate on the line and was won by P. Dadds. The pro pin sponsored by Sugarloaf Bakery is currently held by M. Simpson with 1.97 metres. The ladies winner was Z. Eviston with 68 net, runner up was J. Baulch on a count back from D. Wall both had 73 net.
This week will be the The Beasley Bash playing a Monthly Mug. Next week will be sponsored by P. Manitta, D. Mortimer, A. Smith & S. Synott. This will be a 2 ball Amborse competition with a limited timeslot in the morning, and a Shotgun start at 12 pm for the afternoon timeslots. Timesheets are out now.

This week we have a Social Club teeing off at 7.30 so the Chookies can tee off before them.
