Veterans
Last Monday the Veterans played a Stableford event. The winner on a count back was J. Pearce, from runner up R. Parnell. The rundown went to P. Boldman and T. Richardson all with 40 pts. Next best were V. Wilson 38 pts, G. Lever 37 pts, K. Chivers 36 pts and E. Newlove 35 pts. The ntp’s were received by K. Cook on 4/13, J. Morris, P Boldman and B. Jones on 8/17 & R. Featherstone received the ladies. J. Morris had a Eagle on the 16th hole. The Encouragement Award went to M. McGarrity.
Wednesday Sporters
Last Wednesday the Sporters played an 18 hole competition sponsored by Joe Dover. The winner with 45 pts was W. Jackson, runner up W. Hall with 42 pts. The next best were M. O’Reilly, B. Brown and W. Wieland with 38 pts, followed by G. Parker with 37 pts. The ntp’s were received by A. Stick on 4/13, R. Maudsley 8/17 while P. Ward received 9/18. This week is Far Outdoors and More, sponsoring a stroke 1-9 + 16-18 and the following week will be sponsored by Mick McGarrity playing a stableford 10-18 + 7-9.
Friendly Fridays
Friday we had 5 players playing a Stroke competition for Friendly Friday. The winner with 30 net was M. McGarrity, while the runner up was R. Brookd with 37 net. Tee Off time is still 3 pm see you all then.
Saturday
Last Saturday was washed out. This week is R. W. Ramsey single stroke Monthly Medal and the following week is the Greenkeepers Day. Timesheets are our now.
Chookies
There wasn’t any Chookies again on Sunday so it will be held over until next week. Ring the club for details of next Sunday if you want to play.
