Wednesday the Sporters was sponsored by Boonah Tyre Service playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6. The winner with 28 pts was T. Farmers, runner up S. Edwards on a count back from J. McGrath with 26 pts. The run down continued with R. Cuneo, W. Hall, W. Maudsley & G. Searle with 24 pts. Nearest the pins were received by R. Brooks on 13, J. McGrath on 17, while W. Maudsley received 18. This week will be sponsored by G. Sorensen playing a stroke 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15. Next week will be sponsored by J. McGrath playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6.
Friendly Friday
Friday 6 players teed off for a stroke 1-9 competition. The winner with 37 net was R. Fitzgerald, runner up with 38 net was A. Heit, followed by R. Brooks with 39 net. The ntp was received by A. Heit on the 8th hole. Come along and enjoy the friendship of playing 9 holes. Saturday was sponsored by the Boonah Lions, all money raised will go to Careflight. The winner of A. Grade was W. Gnech ocb from runner up G. Eviston with 35 pts. B. Grade winner was J. Delgado ocb from runner up G. Ball with 36 pts. C. Grade winner was K. Bridges 32 pts runner up S. Edwards with 31 pts. The rundown went to M. Grayson 35 pts, R. Eacott, W. Jackson, V. Christensen & B. Lingard, followed by G. Parker, M. Murray and G. Philp 33 pts and B. Freiberg, J. McGrath, J. Handley, M. Gnech and P. Dadds all with 32 pts. The pin shots were on all holes and received by B. Freiberg on holes 1/10 & 2/11, 3/12 was received by A. Heit, V. Christenson recieved 4/13, while the ladies was received by D. Wall, 5/14 was received by R. Cuneo 6/15 was received by S. Fahey, 7/16 was received by W. Maudsley while 8/17 was received by P. Eggenhuizen, the ladies A. Brown and 9/18 was received by M. Murray. The pro pin sponsored by Sugarloaf Bakery was won by A. Brown with 1.4 metres. This week will be sponsored by Boonah B P playing a stroke/monthly medal. The Cookies winner this week is Shane O’Connell with 18 pts. Sunday we have Brothers Social Club teeing off at 7.30. Chookies can tee off before 7. Anyone wanting a buggy will have to wait until the social club have finished playing. Ring the club for further details
