Veterans:
Monday the Veterans had 24 players play a stableford competition. The winner was R Stinson wit 39 pts, runner up was A McNeill with 36 pts. The run down went to N Halls 35 pts, T Russell, G Philp & J Gurney 34 pts, followed by S Dennis & M Gray 33 pts and K Turner, D Wall & D Forsyth with 32 pts. Pin shots were received by N Zahnow & T Russell for the men while D Wall & K Turner received the ladies. The Encouragement Award was received by L Blunt while the members draw jackpotted. Next week will be a stableford competition. The Beaudesert Vets Open Day will be held on 30th May.
Ladies:
Wednesday the ladies played a stroke competition sponsored by Scenic Rim Trophies. The winner was B Dover ocb from runner up A Brown with 78 net, L Reinholdsson received a ball in the run down. Pin shots were won by K Cook & S Grace. The Accuracy Drive was won by A Brown. This week will be a stableford competition. This will be the 3rd round of the Consistency Cup. Next week will be a stableford competition sponsored by Jan Edwards.
Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters were sponsored by B Lawrance & B Beasley playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition. The winner was J McGrath ocb from S Bailey and G Searle with 25 pts. The ball run down continued with B Beasley 27 pts and W Hall, G Hunt, M O’Reilly & L Vandenbrink with 24 pts. Pin shots were received by M Crowther on 4, while S Bailey received both 8 and 9. The Dugandan Dice winner was D Forsyth with 5 Aces. This week will be sponsored G Parker & L Blunt playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition. Next week will be sponsored by Boonah Tyre Service playing a single stroke 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition.
Saturday:
Saturday we played the Canine Helpers Open Day playing a single stableford competition. The winner was J Miles with 38 pts, runner up B Gotke with 37 pts. The Ladies winner was M Kuhnemann with 34 pts, runner up J Wilson with 31 pts. The run down went to W Martin, R Dewar, M Weber, B May, W Maudsley, B Lawrance & B King 36 pts, S Lutter, A Heit, M Dickson & R Humphrey 35 pts, followed by R Eacott, G Martin & N Toohey 34 pts and G Maynard, K Sawtell, G Hunt & M Herrington 33 pts. The Social winner was A Davey, runner up P Davey. Pin Shots were received by M Weber & Z Eviston on 4/13, G Hunt & J Wilson received 8/17 while M Weber received 9/18. The Accurate Drive was won by C Farnan. This week will be will be the start of our Championships playing single stroke competitions on both Saturday & Sunday this week as well as the following week.
Sunday:
Next Sunday we will be playing the 2nd round of our Championships. Social play will be available around 3 pm after the last group has played their first 9 holes. Ring the club to make a booking or for any further details.
