Ladies
As it is Anzac Day on Wednesday there is no ladies competition in the morning but instead a shot gun start at 1.30 for 9 holes which is a medley – ladies and gents!
Last Week Di Kuhnemann provided the trophies and Jo McAntee was the winner with 35 stableford points. Runner-up Jan Baulch on 33, then the others were Marg Kuhnemann, Di Kuhnemann, Anne Brown all on 31, Maureen Maynard 29, Jenny Briant and Juleen Sippel on 27 and Meryl Tress was presented with the encouragement award. Jo and Anne collected a ball each for the pin shots and Marg, Di and Jenny all had chip ins. Next week is the monthly medal stroke and putting sponsored by Fassifern Pharmacy. Sporters
Wednesday the Sporters’ was sponsored by W Wieland & A Stick playing a 4BBB stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition. The winners were K Rhodes & M Hassan ocb from runners up J Lynch & G Parker with 30 pts. The run down went to L Blunt & G Parker 30 pts, R Stinson & R Fitzgerald 29 pts followed by D Forsyth & B Brown 28 pts. Pin shots were received by J Lynch on both 4 & 9 while 8 was received by M Hassan. The dice sponsored by the Dugandan Hotel was received by M Fitzpatrick. This week is Anzac Day with a 9 hole, 1.30 shot gun start stableford competition open to all members wishing to have a game of golf. Next week will be sponsored by J R Plant Hire playing a stableford 1- 9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition.
Friendly Friday
We had 9 players tee off for Friendly Friday, playing a stableford back 9 competition. The winner was J Browning with 21 pts, runner up M Hassan with 20 pts, followed by P King with 19 pts. The ball rundown went to K Sawtell with 18 pts. The pinshot was received by J Browning while J Lynch received the NAGA. This week will be Big Money Day playing a stroke competition.
Saturday
Saturday we played the Boonah Lions Open Day playing a 4BBB stableford competition. This was also the Trevor Dover Memorial Shield. The winners were J Wallace & P King with 46 pts, runners up S O’Connell & M Schubring with 45 pts ocb from J McGrath & J Handley, followed by K & C Wilson with44 pts. The Social winners were S Bennett & J Dover with 37 pts. The NAGA prize went to T Britton & A Hertweck. The ball run down went W Hall & C Cooney, A Bennett & B Freiberg, S Francis & A Leary and M Hassan & W Martin 43 pts, J Lynch & S Edwards and G Parker & L Blunt 42 pts, followed by B May & R Brooks, G Ball & A Featherstone, J Strutt & D Williams, K Sawtell & J Shine and D Gittins & M Tress 41 pts and D Mortimer & P Manitta and D & M Kuhnemann 40 pts. Pin Shots were received by A Bennett on 2/11, S Francis received 3/12, B Freiberg & S Edwards received 4/13, B Freiberg received 5/14 & 7/16, C Wilson received 6/15, P King & J McAntee received 8/17 while B King received 9/18.
