Monday Boonah Veterans
Last Monday the Veterans played a Mulligans competition. No results were handed in for the week.
Wednesday Sporters
Last Wednesday was the 2nd round of the Championships sponsored by the Boonah Motel. The winner on a countback was T. Lynch from runner up L. Vandenbrink with 33 net. The rundown went to J. Handley, T. Richardson, G. Sorenson, R. Brooks and D. Forsyth all with 35 net, followed by G. Parker and W. Gnech with 36 net. The NTP on 13 was received by T. Lynch, 8/17 was received by A. Skinner and 9/18 was received by J. Potter. The A Grade Champion is T. Lynch with 68 net. B. Grade Champion is L. Vandenbrink 68 net and the C. Grade Champion is E. Newlove with 75 net. The Best Gross Trophy sponsored by W. Gnech was received by T. Lynch with 74. Bob Browns’ Trophy for the best net outside of the prize winners was received by J. Handley with 70 net. Arthur Hertwecks’ ham was won by G. Sorenson with 35 net. No Sporters this week as it’s the Xmas Break. Our Opening Day will be on 4th January, and will be a Stableford 1-9 + 16-18 for John Allens’ Memorial Trophy, followed by John Maynards Trophy another Stableford 10-18 + 7-9.
Friendly Fridays
Last Friday 14 players played a Stableford 1 – 9 event. The winner was C. Shannon with 23 pts, runner up R. Brooks with 22 pts followed by S. Mudde, M. Maynard and V. Wilson with 19 pts. Starting time is 3pm, look forward to seeing you all then!
Saturday
Last Saturday was a Club Trophy. The winner was P. Ledlie with 43 pts, runner up was W. Draheim with 42 pts, followed by K. & A Mitchell with 40 pts, E. Newlove 38 pts and B. May, J. Handley, A. Hertweck and A. Smith with 35 pts. The Ladies Winner was A. Brown with 34 pts, runner up K. Draheim with 32 pts. The ntp’s were received by W. Draheim on 4/13 while the ladies was received by A. Brown, 8/17 was received by A. Mitchell and 9/18 was received by A. Smith. The Pro Pin sponsored by Sugarloaf Bakery currently held by A. Mitchell with 2.30m. The next couple of weeks are Club Trophies, before our Opening Day on the 14th January sponsored by Dover & Sons. Timesheets are our now.
Chookies
The Chookies are being held over for the next couple of weeks for the Christmas Break. This week chookies can tee off anytime.
