Veterans:
Monday the Veterans played a Stableford competition. The winner was R Stinson with 39 pts, runner up A Swift with 37 pts. The ball run down went to D Dann, G Hunt, G Parker & E Meagher 36 pts, D Forsyth & G Sorensen 34 pts followed by M Sim 33 pts, L Blunt 32 pts and W Hill 31 pts. The Members Draw was won by W Hill while the Encouragement Award went to A Stick and L Rhodes got the consolation award. Tomorrow is a stableford competition. Next week will be a 4 BBB stableford competition. Monday the 16th November is the Scenic Rim District Day at Beaudesert.
Ladies
Anna Tomlinson was the winner of the stableford compeetition sponsored by Marlene Zurvas. Anna had 38 pts. Other scores were Ellen Meagher 37 pts, Kris Cook 32 pts, Bernice Dover 31 pts, Jan Edwards 29 pts, Jo McAntee 28 pts, Jan Baulch 24 pts and Nicki Mulligan 20 pts. Vicki won the Accuracy shot. We have now completed two rounds of our championships lets hope the weather is better for the next two rounds.

Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters played their Annual Fassifern Pub Day. The winners were the Commercial Hotel with 118 pts, runners up were Dugandan Hotel No 2, ocb from Simons Hotel No 2 with 107 pts, followed by the Dugandan No 1 side with 103 pts. S Bailey won the Dugandan Dice draw while the pin shot draws went to L Vandenbrink, M Parry & D Webster. This week will be sponsored by Boonah Mitre 10 Hardware playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition. Next week will be sponsored by K Rhodes playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition.
Friendly Friday:
Friendly Fridays’ had 14 players tee off playing a stroke front 9 competition. The winner was W Martin with 30 net, runner up K Kirgis with 33 net followed by H Perrem with 34 net. The run down went K Sawtell 35 net, followed by S Bailey, R Stinson & M Crowther 36 net.
Saturday
Saturday we played the 1st round of the Championships kindly sponsored by The Butcher Co. The winner was B Davey with 64 net, runner up was S Bailey ocb from W Maudsley with 67 net (this was a 69 off the stick for Warren), followed by J Browning with 69 net ocb (This was a 72 off the stick for Jeff). The ball run down went to M O’Reilly & I Browning 69 net, A Lutter, C Marschke, M Simmonds & R Higgs 70 net, followed by C Wilson, P Dadds & K Kirgis 71 net and S Bennett, J Townsend, T Richardson, G Parker, B Beasley & R Dewar 72 net. The ladies winner was J Sippel with 68 net, runer up A Leary 71 net followed by S Reid K Turner & D Kuhnemann 72 net. This week is the round 3 of the Championsips sponsored by Boonah Tyre Power. The next week will be the final day of the Championships sponsored by our President, Vice President & Captain.
Sunday:
Sunday we played the 2nd round of the Championships sponsored by our Patrons, Ron Scells, Frank Reid & Maureen Maynard. The winner was S Bailey ocb from runner up S Bennett with 67 net. The ball run down went to G Maynard, P Gerhardt & J Grimsey 69 net, J Browning, S Fahey & W Gnech 70 net followed by K Milligan, W Martin & N Toohey 71 net, S Peel, B Davey, C Wilson & A Gill 72 net and J Worley, A Parker, L Blunt, P McNiven, M Weber, S Lutter, D Mortimer & G Parker 73 net. The ladies winner was K Turner with 70 net, runner up was J Wilson with 73 net.
Next Sunday we have 2 social clubs using all the buggies, walking will be available but you will have to ring the club to make a booking. Buggies will be available after the social clubs have completed their rounds. Ring the club for further details as we have strict rules still in place for the Carona Virus.
