Veterans:
The Veterans played a single stableford competition. The mens winner was M Sullivan ocb from runner up N Casey and K Rhodes with 37 pts. The ball run down continued with R Stinson, B Brown & W Bodetti with 36 pts, followed by B May & P Moran 35 pts and T Lynch, J Crieghton & G Sorenson with 34 pts. The Ladies winner was M Maynard with 35 pts, runner up A Brown with 34 pts. The run down went to M Kuhnemann 33 pts and V Bird 32 pts. Pin shots were received by J Gilbert & H Gilbert on 4/13 while T Lynch & A Brown received 8/17. The Members draw was won by J Shine while the Encouragement Award was received by L Rhodes. Tomorrow will be a stableford competition. Monday the 4th will be a Single Stroke. Just a reminder that the Canungra Vets Open day will be held on the 18th March.

Ladies:
Another very hot day for the stableford competition last Wednesday however 11 hardy girls turned up. Our winner was Di Kuhneman with 36 points (which included 2 washes) and the consistent Vicki Bird was 2nd with 34 points. Other scores were Anne Brown 33, Maureen Maynard 32, Linda Hooke 31, Marg Kuhnemann and Juleen Sippel 28, Jenny Briant 27, Jan Baulch 26, Jill Pfingst 25 and Robbie Fitzpatrick 21. Our Greens Superintendent is doing a “super” job keeping the course, especially the greens, in excellent condition. Pin shot on 4/13 went to Jan Baulch and 8/17 to Anne. Another stableford competition Wednesday, then beginning March we are into our full season with sponsorship by Maggie of Boonah Hair Design. Good golfing and may all your putts fall in.

Sporters was sponsored by M O’Reilly playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition. The winner was A Stick with 31 pts, runner up K Kirgis with 28 pts. The ball run down went to K Rhodes, R Scells & M O’Reilly 25 pts, followed by W Hall, N Hooke, G Lutter, J Browning & G Overlack 24 pts. Friendly Fridays had 18 players tee off, playing a stroke front 9 competition, for Big Money Day. The winner was K Reinholdsson ocb from runner up J Sippel with 33 net followed by L Hooke with 34 net. The ball run went to J Handley, R Eacott & V Christensen with 36 net. The pin shots were received by J McAntee & K Reinholdsson while N Casey received the NAGA.
