Ladies
The 8th round of the Consistency Cup was sponsored by The Picnic Parlour and the winner was Di Kuhnemann with 38 stableford points – a very good score. Runner-up was Jill Pfingst on 36. Linda Hooke had 34 and other players were Jan Baulch & Jo McAntee 32, Anne Brown 29, Kris Cook 27, Jan Edwards 26, Vicki Bird 24, Jenny Briant 22 and Marg Kuhnemann was awarded the NAGA. Jo won both the pin shots, and Linda had a chip in. Friday Boonah hosted the Brisbane & District Country Open Day which saw 76 ladies played an Irish Four Ball competition won by Laidley. Visitors came from Keperra, McLeod, Wynnum, Meadowlea, Rosewood, Laidley, Lowood & Ipswich. Everyone was very impressed with the condition of the course. A big “thank you” to the bunker boys, the cart captain and Jo the spotter for your help in making sure the large field ran smoothly. Wednesdaay we play for the Annette Geiger Perpetual Memorial which is a silver tray donated by Maureen Maynard and a voucher given by Kim Geiger (her daughter). Good golfing and may all your putts drop in.

Wednesday the Sporters was sponsored by J Handley playing a stableford 1- 9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition. The winner was K Kirgis ocb from runner up M Fitzpatrick with 29 pts. The ball run down went to L Blunt 28 pts, R Cuneo 27 pts, followed by J Handley & A Parker 26 pts, D Webster 25 pts and R Scells, D Fosyth, G Lutter & A Stick 24 pts. J Browning received the pin shot on 4, M Hassan received 8 while A Parker received 9. The Dugie dice sponsored by the Dugandan Hotel was received by B Brown. This week will be sponsored by S Edwards playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition. Next week will be sponsored by Sugarloaf Bakery playing a stroke 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition.
Friendly Friday
Friendly Fridays had 19 players tee off for a stroke back 9 competition. The winner was G Henderson with 27 net, runner up P Cooper 28 net followed by W Maudsley 31 net. The ball run down went to K Kirgis 32 net, followed by D Forsyth 31 net and V Christensen, M Hassan & R Eacott 36 net. The pinshot was received by V Christensen while J McAntee received the NAGA. This week will be a stroke competition for Big Money Day.

Saturday was sponsored by G & M Maynard playing a 4BBB stroke competition. The winners were J Shine & K Eugarde with 56 net, runners up D Gittins & R Patrick 60 net. The rundown went to J & I Browning 61 net ocb from M Simmonds & W Branjes, S Francis & Z Eviston, B Perrem & T Alchin and J Pfingst & M Tress 61 net followed by W Bird & G Ball 62 net, S Bailey & M Schubring 63 net and A Hertweck & P McNiven, A & B Brown, B Davey & A Feathertone, J McGrath & J Handley and D Forsyth & J Gillett 64 net. Sunday
Sunday the Boonah Pennant team played Ipswich at Esk and lost 3 and squared 2. The Chook run winner this week was B Lawrance with 20 pts. This Sunday there is no Social Club though the club is hosting a 9 hole competition with a 2.30 shot gun start. Ring the club to make a booking or for further details.
