Veterans
Monday the Veterans played a stableford competition. The winner with 39 pts was J Potter, runner up R Tomlinson 37 pts ocb from J Burns. The run down went to V Christensen 37 pts, A Jackson 36 pts, followed by A Featherstone, A Pritchard, D Gittens & K Cook 35 pts and P Cooper, C Greet, G Sorensen & H Hei 34 pts. Pins shots were received by P Sheffield on 4/13 while A Pritchard & K Cook received 8/17. The Eccouragement Award was received by A Stick and the Members Draw jackpotted.
Sporters
Wednesday the Sporters played the Glen Sippel Memorial Trophy playing a stroke 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15. The winner was D Forsyth with 44 net, runner up J Potter 46 net. The run down went to L Vandenbrink, G Parker & M McGarrity 47 net followed by J Handley 48 net & B May 49 net. Pin shots were received by W Hall on 4, J Browning receied both 8 and 9. The Dugandan Dice winner this week was J Handley. The best gross for the day went to J Browning. This week will be sponsored by D Webster playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6. Next week will be sponsored by S Pfeffer playing a stablford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15.
Friendly Fridays’
Friendly Fridays’ had 15 golfers tee off playing a stableford front 9 competition. The winner was V Riley with 22 pts, runner up M Crowther with 21 pts ocb from A Heit with 21 pts. The pin shot was received by A Heit. This week we will be teeing off at 2.45. Be there at 2.30 to have your name down.
Saturday
Saturday was sponsored by some of the Members playing a stroke competition. The A Grade winner was V Christensen with 69 net, runner up B May 70 net ocb. The B Grade winner was R Brooks with 68 net, runner up M Bell 71 net. C Grade winner was M Weber 70 net ocb from runner up J Yates. The ladies winner was L Hooke with 71 net, runner up J Baulch 73 net. Pin shots were recieved by D Mortimer & K Turner on 4/13, G Parker & K Turner received 8/17, while G Parker received 9/18. The Pro Pin on no 4 is sponsored by Drummond Golf and current held by S Mudde with 83 cm. The Sugarloaf Bakery Pro Pin on 17 is currently held by J Browning with 1.51m. The new Money Pin was received by P King (ask at the bar if you want to go in this weekly new pin). B May had an Eagle on the 12th. This week will be the Boonah Rotary Open Day ($1000 worth of prizes to be won). Next week will be Furniture Court Open Day.
Sunday
Sunday we have a 4Ball Ambrose Charity Day with funds raised going to the Australian Wolf Hirschhorne Syndrome. This is a shotgun start at 8 am. Members and Non Golfers are welcome to participate.
