Wednesday the sporters was sponsored by the Bob Brown. The winner with 32 pts was G. Searle, runner up A. Smith 29 pts on a count back from G. Sorenson. The rundown continued with W. Maudsley 27 pts, M. Crowther 26 pts, followed by F. Johnson & B. Davey 25 pts and J. Browning, G. Parker, A. Stick & D. Forsyth all with 24 pts. The ntp’s were received by F. Johnson on 4, A. Stick received 8, while 9 was received by W. Maudsley. The next competition date is on Wednesday the 9th January sponsored by B. Davey, playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15. No formal comp on 2nd due to the holiday period. See you all next year.
Saturday
Saturday was a club trophy playing a stroke competition. The winner with 65 net was G. Eviston, runner up M. Simpson. The run down continued with T. Weatherhead, G. Balharry & S. Edwards with 69 net, W. Gnech 70 net, followed by M. McGarrity 71 net and D. Bond, M. Surawski, N. Toohey & P. Dadds all with 72 net. Nearest the pins were received by M. McGarrity 4/13, the ladies D. Wall, 8/17 I. Kemp, while 9/18 was received by J. Comp. The pro pin sponsored by Sugarloaf Bakery is currently held by T. Lynch with 161 cm. Saturday is a club trophy playing a stableford competition.
