Veterans:
Monday the Veterans played a stableford competition, at Beaudesert for the Scenic Rim District. The Overall Mens winner was G Sharpe while the Overall Ladies winner was K Cook. Those receiving prizes in the Overall Divison from Boonah were T Russell & G Hunt, M Maynard, J Sippel & E Meagher. The Boonah players in the run down went to G Sharpe & T Russell 33pts. The ladies in the run down were M Maynard & J Sippel. Pin Shots were received by S Edwards, G Hunt, J Sippel & L Edwards. Next week is a stableford competition, followed by the Veterans AGM.
Ladies:
Last Wednesday we played a Mulligams competition for Nicki Mulligans’ trophy and this was won by Ellen Meagher with 39 pts. The runner up was Bernice Dover ocb from Jan Baulch with 38 pts. Other scores were Di Kuhnemann, Maureen Maynard and Nicki Mulligan with 36 pts, Barb Hamilton 35 and Kris Cook 34 pts. The Accuracy Shot was won by Jan Baulch.
The Summer competition is a nine hole
competition from Wednesday morning till Tuesday afternoon, You
can play whenever you like and as often as you like.
Pay $5 at the bar. There will be
a book in the ladies roon to register your name. There will be alternate nine holes each week.

Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters started their Championships playing a single stroke 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition, sponsored by Dover & Sons. The winner was J Browning with 44 net, runner up A Stick with 45 net. The run down went to S Fahey 47 net, W Hall & L Blunt 48 net followed by G Parker & B Mau 49 net. Best Gross for the day was J Browning with 47off the stick. The pins shot draws were won by J Gurney, M Weber & D Forsyth. G Eviston won the Dugandan Dice draw. This week will be the 2nd round of the Championships playing a 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition. W Gnech sponsors the best gross for the Championships. Next week be sponsored by B Brown playing a stableford 1-9 + 10 ,14 & 15 competiton. This will be followed by the Sporters AGM & the Xmas break-up.
Friendly Friday:
Friendly Fridays’ had 15 players tee off playing a stroke front 9 competition. The winner was H Perrem with 32 net, runner up was G Eviston ocb from K Kirgis with 34 net. The run down went to J Gurney & J McAntee with 36 net. The NAGA was T Stinson.
Saturday:
Saturday we played the Boonah Lions Open Day playing a 2 Ball Ambrose competition. This was the Trevor Dover Memorial. We Thank the Lions as well as Bernice Dover for the day. The winners were M Gnech & D Mortimer with 61¼, runners up were T Grimshaw & J Browning with 61½, followed by B May & E Meagher 62½, A Parker & R Dewar 63¼, C Perrem & B Gotke 63½, G Philp & D Wall 63¾ & L Stokes & R Southwell 64¼. The ball run down went to J Gurney & B King 64¾, G Parker & L Blunt and P Gerhardt & D Smith 65½, A Lutter & J Handley 66 net, T Alchin & C Stumer 66¼, P Leath & C Shannon 67 net, A Heit & A Thompson and B Beasley & H Perrem 67¼, W Maudsley & W Gnech and K Kirgis & M Crowther 67½, and A & S Bennett and W Martin & R Higgs 674¾. This week will be sponsored by G & Z Eviston, W Gnech, J Browning & M Dickson playing a single stableford/monthly mug competiton. This will be the Mug play off. If you have won a mug during the year you will be in the play off. Sunday we are hosting a Holden Scramble. Sunday:
Sunday we played a 2 ball ambrose for our Sponsors Day. The winners were B Horridge & M Ballin with 31 net, runners up were C Shannon & P Leath 32¼, followed by A Ault & B Lehmann with 32½. This week we are hosting a Holden Scramble, Social play will be available for those playing 9 holes before 9 am. Social play will then be available after 3 pm. Please ring the club to make a booking or for any further details as we have strict rules still in place for the Carona Virus.
