Ladies
Wednesday the ladies played a stableford competition for L Hookes’ Trophy. The winner was J Baulch with 38 pts, runner up V Bird 36 pts. The run down went to A Leary 35 pts, A Brown 31 pts and L Hooke 29 pts. Wednesday will be a stableford competition for a club trophy in honor of our past member Sheila Mawson. Next week will a stableford competition for another club trophy.

Wednesday was the Glenn Sippel Memorial playing a stroke 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15. The winner was R Fitzgerald with 43 net, runner up was W Hall ocb from J Browning with 44 net. The run down continued with M Hassan 45 net, W Wieland, M Weber & N Hooke 47 net, followed by D Forsyth, G Lutter, K Rhodes 48 net & M Crowther 49 net. The best gross for the day was received by J Browning with 48 off the stick. Pin shots were received by J Browning on 4, while S Stokes received 9. The dice winner was R Williams sponsored by Dugandan Hotel. This week will be sponsored by D Webster playing a stroke 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6. Next week will sponsored by S Pfeffer playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15.
Friendly Fridays’
Friendly Fridays’ had 27 players tee off playing a stroke back 9 competition. The winner was D May with 25 net, runner up D Ryan 30 n et followed by L Rhodes 31 net. The run down went to P Cooper & R Fitzgerald 32 net, B Brown 33 net, followed by M Hassan, L Edwards & S Bailey 34 net, J Handley & A Brown 35 net and K Rhodes & M Schubring 36 net. The pinshot was received by K Reinholdsson. The Encouragement Award went to J McAntee. We are now teeing off at 3pm.

Saturday was sponsored by Beaudesert Softdrinks playing a 4BBB stableford competition. The winners were M Schubring & S O’Connell 48 pts, runners up were P Manitta & D Mortimer ocb from D Bond & G Buganey with 47 pts. The run down continued with M Hassan & W Martin, M O’Reilly & D Forsyth, C & K Wilson, K Cook & V Riley and R Fitzgerald & P Cooper 46 pts. Pinshots were received by D Wall & M Sim on 4/13, 8/17 was received by B May & K Turner while F Johnson received 9/18. The Pro Pin on 4 sponsored by Drummond Golf is currently held by R Brooks with 3.27m. The Pro Pin on 17 is sponsored by Sugarloaf Bakery. The Money Pin was won by W Maudsley. This week will be Boonah Rotary Club Open Day. This will be 2 shotgun starts. Next week will be a stroke/monthly medal competition sponsored by Aratula BP. The Pennants lost to Sandy Gallop 7 to 2. This Sunday we have a Social Club teeing off at 8 am. There is another group teeing off at 12.30 so no social play will be available. Ring the club for further details.
