Alison Leary was the sponsor for last week’s stableford event which was won by Marg Kuhnemann – 36 points (she has finally got the pace of the greens!) Runner-up was Jan Edwards 35, Maureen Maynard 34, Ellen Maegher 33, Linda Hooke 32, Jan Baulch 31, Kaylene Turner 30, Anne Brown 29, Linda Edwards 27, Meryl Tress and Kris Cook 25 and it is always good to see Fran Licciardo join us for 9 holes. Pin Shots went to Linda Edwards on 8/17 and Kris Cook 1/10 No-one managed to hit the green at 4/13. This round was No 4 for the Consistency Cup, our year long competition. Chip in’s for Kris on 10, so too Linda H and Maureen on 6. By the time this hits the press we will have played the first 2 rounds of the club championship with another 2 this coming week-end. Today is the Gail Grimsey Memorial and next Wednesday our past member, Shelaegh Zimmer is our sponsor. Good golfing girls..

Wednesday the Sporters was sponsored Boonah Tyrepower playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 .The winner was M Fitzpatrick ocb from runner up A Stick, M Hassan, R Fitzgerald & L Vandenbrink all with 24 pts. Pin shots were received by L Blunt on 13, W Hall received 17 while R Cuneo received 18. The Dugandan Dice sponsored by the Dugandan Hotel was received by M Fitzpatrick. This week will be sponsored G Lutter playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15. Next week will be sponsored by J McGrath playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6..

Saturday we played the 1st round of our Championships sponsored by R Brooks & L Edwards. The mens winner was K Sawtell with 68 net, runner up R Cuneo ocb from B Freiberg & N Toohey 71 net. The ladies winner was K Turner with 72 net, runner up K Cook 74 net. The run down continued with G Balharry & D Forsyth 72 net, P King, G Parker, T Richardson, S Riley & M Weber 73 net and G Philp, D Gittins, A Jackson, B Brown, J Gillett & K Reinholdsson 74 net. Pin shots were received by A Jackson & K Turner on 4/13, M Hassan & L Edwards received 8/17 while B Beasley received 9/18. The Pro Pin on 4 is sponsored by Drummond Golf and currently held by J McGrath with .84m. The Pro Pin on 17 is sponsored by Sugarloaf Bakery. The Money Pin was received by D Mortimer. Day 2 of the Championships was sponsored by S Fahey & K Cook. The mens winner was G Parker ocb from runner up G Philp with 69 net. The ladies winner was K Turner with 73 net, runner up A Leary 74 net followed by M Tress 75 net. The run down went to R Humphrey, G Lutter, D Forsyth & N Toohey 72 net, followed by G Searle, C Wilson & T Britton 73 net and W Wieland, V Riley, D Gittins & J Browning 74 net. Pin shots were received by A Leary & P King on 4/13, 8/17 was received by J McAntee & G Searle while 9/18 was received by N Toohey. The Money Pin was received by B Beasley.
