Last week seen Wally Woolgar’s trophy day sponsored by David Woolgar, the competition held was a Stableford event 1-9+16-18 and the winner with 31 points was Gary Sorensen and the runner up was Geoff Ball with 29 points. The NTP on 4 was received by A Skinner, 8/17 was received by G Sippel and 9/18 was received by J McGrath. This week’s comp will be a Stableford 10-18+7-9 event for Glen Sippel trophy day. The following week we play a 2 Ball Ambrose 1-9+16-18 for Sel Pfeffer’s trophy day
Friendly Fridays
Last Friday afternoon seen 10 players for a Stableford 10-18 event and the winner for the afternoon was Mick McGarrity having 26 points and the runner up was Col Shannon having 19 points following in the rundown were Syb Mudde, Vern Wilson, Terry Lynch and Rob Brooks. Tee off time is for 2.30pm. See you all then!
Saturday
Last Saturday seen 32 players for a Club trophy day playing a single stroke event, the mens winner for the day was J Smith having 69 nett and the runner up was W Gnech having 70 nett following in the rundown were Simon Fahey and S Synnott each having 70 nett, G Schmidt had 71 nett and C Philp had 72 nett. The ladies winner was L Edwards having 70 nett and the runner up was S Reid having 74 nett. The mens NTP on 4/13 was received by T Farmers the ladies NTP on 4/13 was received by S Reid, 8/17 was received by J Smith and 9/18 was received by A Smith. This Saturday we play a 4BBB Stableford Medley event for Maureen and Greg Maynard’s trophy day and the following week we play a single stroke mens A,B and C and ladies winner event for K and L Forsyth Memorial Golf Day, time sheets available for these events and also 10th September will be Aeromarine Trophy Day playing a single Stableford monthly mug event and Saturday 17th of September will be the Ambulance Open Day holding a single stablefor Mens A, B and C Grade also.

Last Sunday seen Boonah Rotary Club hold their Open Day playing a single Stableford event, the overall winner being Brad Freiberg with 43 points, Mens A Grade winner was Alan Bennett on a count back of 38 points, runner up was Jeff Browning also having 38 points, 1st runner up was G Maynard with 34 points, 2nd runner up was T Lynch with 33 points and 3rd runner up was G Sippel with 32 points. Mens B Grade winner was Simon Francis having 38 points, runner up was Nick Hughes with 36 points, 1st runner up was A Hertweck with 30 points, 2nd runner up was R Eacott with 29 points and 3rd runner up was W Hall with 27 points. Mens C Grade winner was Mick McGarrity with 40 points, runner up was Col Shannon with 38 points, 1st runner up was D Hughes with 37 points, 2nd runner up was M Simpson with 36 points and 3rd runner up was S Smith also having 36 points.
Ladies winner was Jan Baulch with 38 points, runner up was Linda Edwards with 35 points, 1st runner up was D Moore with 32 points, 2nd runner up was S McKenzie with 29 points and 3rd runner up was D Wall with 28 points. The Social winner was Graham Lutter with 75, runner up was Steve Lutter with 75 and 1st runner up was F Grayson with 79. NTP’s were placed on all holes, 1/10: J Browning, 2/11: B Freiberg, 3/12: G Sippel, Mens 4/13: B Freiberg, Ladies 4/13: J Baulch, 5/14: G Parker, 6/15: J Browning, 7/16: J McGrath, Mens 8/17: J Browning, Ladies 8/17: D Moore and 9/18: R Eacott. The Mystery Drive on 5/14 was received by S Mudde, the mens long drive on number 10 was received by A Bennett, the ladies long drive on number 10 was received by S Reid and G Searle received the NAGA Prize.
