Monday Boonah Veterans
Last Monday veterans played a single Stableford event and the winner for the day was Vern Wilson having 44 points and the runner up was David Yeates having 39 points, following in the rundown were C Shannon and P Cooper each having 36 points, R Brooks had 35 points and J Potter, B Hall and B Brown each had 34 points. The NTP on 4/13 was received by D Yeates, the ladies NTP on 8/17 was received by A Brown and the mens NTP on 8/17 was received by T Lynch. The encouragement award went to G Henderson.
Wednesday Sporters
Last Wednesday Murray O’Reilly held his trophy day playing a single Stableford 10-18 plus 7-9 event. The winner for the day was John Potter having 31 points and the runner up on a count back of 29 points was John Handley. The rundown consisted of M Roberts having 29 points, W Maudsley, E Newlove and M McGarrity each had 26 points and W Hall finished up with 25 points. The NTP on number 4 was received by W Maudsley, 8/17 was received by D Forsyth and 9/18 was received by D Forsyth. This week we play a single Stableford 1-9 plus 16-18 event for Joe Dover’s Trophy Day and the following week we will play a single stroke 10-18 event.
Friendly Fridays
Last Friday seen 8 players play a single stroke 10-18 event and the winner for the afternoon was V Riley having 35 nett and the runner up was S Mudde having 38 nett following in the rundown were V Wilson also having 38 nett, A Featherstone having 39 nett and M Crowther had 41 nett. Tee off time is for 3.00pm anyone is welcome to play, handicap or no handicap we will work something out, bring a friend along. A Fun and Friendly afternoon.

Last Saturday was Ray Chant’s Memorial Golf Day, playing a single stroke event. The mens winner of the was Paul Ledlie having 64 nett and the runner up was Stephen O’Çonnor having a count back of 66 nett following in the rundown were T Farmer having 66 nett, W Jackson, G Benstead, T Weatherhead and G Knox each had 67 nett, T Domjahn had 68 nett, C Shannon, G Philp, P King, S Fahey, P Manitta, M Balder, C Petrohilos and R Eacott each had 69 nett, W Gnech had 70 nett, G Parker, A Smith, A Timperley, J McGrath, G Chapman and D Forsyth each had 71 nett and completing the mens rundown with 72 nett was M O’Reilly, J Harris, P Eggenhuizen, R Humphrey, M Surawski, G Merrtens G Sippel and J Dover. The ladies winner for the day was A Brown having a count back of 73 nett and the runner up was Dot Wall having 73 nett. The ladies NTP on 4/13 was received by L Edwards, the mens NTP on 4/13 was received by C Petrohilos, NTP on 8/17 was received by G Benstead and the NTP on 9/18 was received by J Harris. This Saturday we play for Boonah Real Estate Trophy Day playing a single Stableford event. The Greenskeepers Golf Day is coming up also a golf day not to be missed. Chookies
The chookies winner for last week was Shane OÇonnell having 18 points. The NTP on number 4 was received by O Brook. This Sunday chookies may tee off before 6.30am or after 7.30am.
