Veterans
Last Monday the Veterans played a stableford competition. The winner with 36 pts was T. Lynch, runner up was R. Parnell with 35 pts. The rundown went V. Wilson & P. Cooper 33 pts, B. Hall & V. Riley 31 pts, followed by A. Henderson, B. Jones & M. Cufi all with 30 pts. H Ntp’s were received by V. Wilson on 4/13, 8/17 was received by R. Harbers , while the ladies was received by K. Cook. The Encouragement Award went to R. Featherstone.
Wednesday Sporters
Last Wednesday the Sporters was sponsored by G. Parker playing a Stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition. The winner with 26 pts on a count back was D. Webster from runner up M. McGarrity and B. Hutchinson. The rundown also went down to G. Sippel, G. Searle & D. Forsyth all with 24 pts. Nearest the pins were received by R. Cuneo on 3, B. Davey on 8, while 17 was received by A. Stick. This week is being sponsored by Boonah Tyre Service playing a Stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6. The next week will be a stroke competition sponsored by Gary Sorenson playing 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15.
Friendly Fridays
We had 10 Friendly Friday’s players last week playing a stableford front 9. The winner was G. Henderson with 25 pts, runner up was A. Henderson with 20 pts. The run down went to V. Wilson with 19 pts, G. Eviston & B. Jones both had 18 pts. Don’t forget the tee off time is now 2.30, so come along and enjoy Friendly Fridays and have a social drink.
Saturday
Last Saturday was Boonah Lions Club Open Day. The A Grade winner with 41 pts was J. Browning on a count back from runner up J. Handley, next best W. Gnech with 40 pts. B. Grade winner was R. Philp also on a count back from runner up S. Francis with 36 pts, next best M. Grayson with 35 pts. The C Grade winner was G. Schmidt with 40 pts, runner up B. Davey with 38 pts, next best was J. Buganey with 34 pts. The run down went to J. Smith & P. Manitta 39 pts, R. Cuneo & N. Hughes 38 pts followed by W. Maudsley 36 pts and M. Christensen & G. Searle both with 35 pts.. The ladies winner was S. McKenzie with 34 pts, runner up K. Cook with 33 pts. The ntp’s were on all holes and received by G. Roberts on 1/10, W. Gnech 2/11, 3/12 was a B. grade pin shot received by M. Grayson, 4/13 was received by G. Sippel, the ladies was received by A. Brown, 5/14 was an A grade pinshot received by A. Bennett, 6/15 was a C. Grade pin shot and was received by G. Eviston, 7/16 was received by T. Moller, J. Handley received 8/17 while D. Wall received the ladies, and 9/18 was received by J. Browning. This week we have about 20 players from the Rathdowney Social Club teeing off at 7am. If wanting a game I am sure you can tee off after them within reason.
