Monday Boonah Veterans
Last Monday seen our veterans play a single Stableford event and the winner for the day was Mark Crowther having a count back of 38 points and the runner up was Kris Cook also having 38 points following in the rundown were V Riley, C Shannon, R Brooks and A Featherstone each had 37 points, B Hall and V Wilson finished up with 35 points each. L Brasington received the encouragement award and K Chivers received the NTP on 4/13, M Crowther received the mens NTP on 8/17 and K Cook received the ladies NTP on 8/17.
Wednesday Sporters
Last Wednesday seen John Potter hold a single stroke 1-9 event for his trophy day and the winner for the day was Rob Cuneo on a count back of 33 nett, the runner up being Wayne Hall also having 33 nett. The rundown consisted of P Ward with 34 nett, W Maudsley, E Newlove, B Davey and G Sorensen each finished up with 37 nett. The best Gross was from W Maudsley having 38. The NTP on 4 was received by R Cuneo, number 8 was received by L Roberts and number 9 was received by D Mortimer. This week we play a 4 BBB Stableford 10-18 + 7-9 event for Carlton United Breweries Day and the following week we play a single Stableford 1-9 + 16-18 event for Wayne Gnech’s trophy day.
Friendly Fridays
Ten golfers played a single Stableford 10-18 event last Friday, the winner for the afternoon was Mick McGarrity having 23 points and the runner up was Mark Crowther having 20 points. In the rundown were C Greet and S Mudde each having 18 points and T Lynch finished up with 16 points. . Tee off time is 3.00pm. See you all then, all welcome to play!
Saturday
Last Saturdays comp was sponsored by Ray Draper playing a single stroke event. The mens winner for the day was N Toohey on a count back of 66 nett and the runner up was Grant Schmidt also having 66 nett followed by J Worley, K Fransis, C Philp each having 72 nett and J Browning and G Philp each had 73 nett. The ladies winner for the day was G Buganey having 77 nett and the runner up was L Edwards with 82 nett followed by D Wall. The ladies NTP on 4/13 was received by G Buganey and the mens NTP on 4/13 was received by J Comp, the ladies NTP on 8/17 was received by D Wall and the mens NTP on 8/17 was received by G Philp, B Hoskin received the NTP on 9/18. This week we play for the Girls trophy day playing a single Stableford event, the following week we play for Dr David Yeates trophy day playing a single Stableford monthly mug event and for the following 2 weekends will be the 2011 Championships, timesheets are out for all these events now.
