Veterans:
Monday the Veterans had 28 players tee off playing a stableford competition. The winner was R Humphrey with 42 pts, runner up was W Hill with 41 pts. The ladies winner was K Cook with 35 pts ocb from runner up S Kopelke. The ball run went to M Hassan 38 pts, B May 36 pts, followed by J Gurney, E O’Farrell & T Lynch 34 pts and T Russell & J Edwards 33 pts. Pin shots were received by Shane Kopelke & M Hassan while Sue Kopelke received the ladies. The Encouragement Award went to J Sippel while the Members Draw jackpotted. Next week will be a stableford competition.
Ladies:
Wednesday the ladies played a single stableford competition, for a club trophy. The winner was H Roebig with 42 pts, runner up was S Reid ocb from A Brown with 31 pts. H Roebig & A Brown won the pinshots. The Accuracy Drive was won by J Edwards. Next week will be a stableford competition, for E Meagher trophy.
Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters was sponsored by J Handley playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition. The winner was G Eviston with 24 pts ocb from runner up R Cuneo. Pins shots were received by W Hall on 4, while S Fahey received 9. The Dugandan Dice winner was G Searle with 5 Queens. This week the sporters will be sponsored by Boonah Eyecare playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition. Next week will be sponsored by Sugarloaf Bakery playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition.
Saturday:
Saturday we played the Glenn Sippel Memorial playing a stableford/monthly mug competition. This was kindly sponsored by J Sippel. The Mens winner was G Clark with 40 pts, runner up A Parker with 39 pts, followed by N Toohey ocb from W Hall also ocb with 38 pts. The ladies winner was Z Eviston with 42 pts, runner up K Turner with 38 pts. The ball run down went to S Lutter & D Mortimer 38 pts, R Humphrey 37 pts, M Tress 36 pts, followed by G Parker & M Simmonds, J Briant, D Kuhnemann & T Reid Pocock 35 pts. Pin shots went to J Browning & J Briant on 4/13, R Cuneo & E Meagher received 8/17 while R Cuneo received 9/18. D Forsyth received the Accurate Drive. This week end will be the Darvall Cup, playing both Saturday & Sunday single stroke competitions. Next week will be sponsored by Bendigo Bank playing a stroke/monthly medal competition.
