Veterans:
Monday the Veterans played a stableford competition. The winner was G Hunt with 36 pts, runner up D Forsyth with 35 pts. The run down went to D Dann 33 pts, C Shannon, R Holland & K Rhodes 32 pts, followed by M Gray 31 pts and S Dennis & W Hill 30 pts. Pin shots were received by N Halls on 4/13 while P Cooper recieved 8/17. The Encouragement Award went to T Norris. Next week will be a stroke round for round 1 of the Championships.
Wednesday
Ladies:
Nicki Mulligan won Fran Licciardos trophy
on a count back from Jo McAntee both having 37 points. Other scores were Vicki
Bird 36, Jan Baulch 33, and on 32 were Kris Cook, Ellen Meagher and Maureen
Maynard, Margaret Kuhnemann and Anna Tomlinson 30, Barb Hamilton, Anne Brown
and Jan Ed\wards 29 pts. The nearest the pins were won by Anne on 4/13 and
on 8/17 Vicki. Jan Baulch won the accuracy shot. Next week is a bogey competition for
Hawks Transport trophy. The mixed foursomes championships are Sunday 2nd
August. The Darvall Cup is on the weekend of 8th and 9th August and the
Lex and Kath Forsyth memorial is Saturday the 15th so there is plenty of
weekend golf coming up. It was good to
have a dry course last Wednesday. We did not have to clean our shoes,
sticks and buggy wheels.

Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters played a 2 Ball Ambrose 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition, sponsored by FIS Insurance Brokers. The winners were B May & G Eviston with 41½, runners up were G Hunt & G Russell with 43 net. The rundown went to J McGrath & R Maudsley 44 net, R Stinson & B Davey 46¼, G Parker & R Cuneo 46½, D Forsyth & B Brown 47¼, R Eacott & J Handley and M Crowther & K Kirgis 48¾ and R Humphrey & W Hall 49 net. Pin shots were received by R Cuneo on 13 whlile R Maudsley received 17. The Dugandan Dice winner was M Fitzpatrick. This week will be sponsored by The Butcher Co the playing a stroke 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition. Next week will be sponsored by G Searle playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition.
Friendly Friday:
Friendly Friday had 14 players, playing a stableford front 9 competition. The winner was K Kirgis ocb runner up J Sippel with 21 pts, followed by K Sawtell with 18 pts. The pin shot was received by J McAntee while R Stinson received by NAGA.

Saturday we played the Chappy Cup playing a 4 ball Ambrose competition. The winners were A Heit, T Alchin, M Philp & A VanAnsem with 54¼, runners up were C Perrem, A Tomlinson, J Wilson & S Grace with 55½. The run down went to J Beasley, K Sawtell, B May & J Worley and K & C Wilson, P Rabbitt & M Weber 56&3/8, J McGrath, J Handley, R Eacott & R Maudsley 57&3/8, W Brantjes, M Simmonds, S Peel & B Hinze 59¼, M Kuhnemann, M Dickson, I Browning & M Maynard 59½ and M O’Reilly, D Forsyth, W Hill & R Philp and S Bailey, P Gerhardt, B Lawrance & J McAntee 59&3/8. Pin Shots were received by E Meagher & A VanAnsem with a hole in 1 on 4/13, S Reid & A Heit received 8/17 while W Blair received 9/18. This week will be the K & S Bartholomew Memorial playing a stableford competition. Next week will be sponsored by R, G & C Philp and M Gnech, playing a stableford/monthly mug competition. This will be the next round of the Bi Rite Challenge. The Pro Pin on 4 sponsored by Drummond Golf is currently held by T Grimshaw with 52 cm. The Pro Pin on 17 is sponsored by Sugarloaf Bakery and currently held by G Hunt with 45 cm. The Accuate Drive was received by B Philp. The Mixed Foursomes will be held on Sunday the 2nd August.
Sunday: Sunday we have a social club teeing off at 7 am using all the buggies. Social play will be available after they have completed their round. Please ring the club to make a booking as we have strict regulations of play in leiu of the caronavirus.
