Veterans: Monday the Veterans resumed their 2020 year with a stableford competition. The winner was T Norris with 40 pts, runner up V Christensen with 39 pts. The run down went to R Stinson 36 pts, W Bodetti, G Sharpe & B Davey 35 pts, G Philp 34 pts followed by A Stick & T Russell 33 pts and G Hunt 32 pts. Pin Shots were won by B Davey & C Petrohilos, while J Edwards & K Cook received the ladies. R Holland was awarded the Encouragement Award. Tomorrow is a stableford competition. Next week will a stableford competition.
Sporters: Wednesday the Sporters was sponsored by the Maynard Family for the John Maynard trophy, playing a stroke 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition. The winner was B Davey with 45 net, runner up was A Lutter ocb from M Maudsley, W Hall, N Hooke & G Parker with 48 net, followed by M O’Reilly & R Scells with 49 pts. The ball run down continued with M O’Reilly & R Scells with 49 net. Pin shots were received by N Hooke on 13, while G Parker 18. The best gross for the day was G Parker with 53 off the stick. B Brown won the Dugandan Dice with 5 Kings. This week will be sponsored by R Scells, playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition, for the John Allen Memorial. Friendly Fridays: The Friendly Fridays had 14 players tee off playing a stroke front 9 competition. The winner was W Martin with 19 pts, runner up G Grimsey with 18 pts, followed by M Crowther with 17 pts ocb. The ntp was won by S Bailey while B Hamilton received the NAGA.
Saturday: Saturday was a club trophy due to the rain and no buggies on the course. The winner was K Milligan with 39 pts, runner up C Marschke with 38 pts. The Ladies winner was A Tomlinson with 32 pts, runner up J McAntee with 29 pts ocb. Pin shots were received by W Maudsley & D Wall on 4/13, J McAntee received 8/17 while L Coulsen received 8/17 & 9/18. The pro pin on 4 is sponsored by Drummond Golf and currently held by P Francis.
