Monday the Veterans played a stableford competition. The winner was B Cunningham with 42 pts, runner up A Jackson with 39 pts ocb from M Hassan. The run down went to J Shine, P Cooper, F Brophy & A Stick with 33 pts. Pin Shots were received by A Jackson on 4/13 while V Wilson & J Edwards received 8/17. R Featherstone received the Encouragement Award.
Ladies
Wednesday the ladies played a stableford competition for J Baulch’s trophy. The winner was A Brown ocb from runner up M Maynard with 35 pts. Pin shots were received by J McAntee on 4/13 while A Brown received 8/17. . This week will be a stableford competition for the Annette Geiger Memorial. Next week will be a club trophy playing a stableford competition.
Sporters
Wednesday, the sporters was sponsored by J Handley playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15. The winner was G Searle with 26 pts, runner up ocb was L Vandenbrink with 25 pts. The run down went to R Scells, A Featherstone & K Rhodes 25 pts followed by M O’Reilly, J Browning & B May 24 pts. Pin shots were received by J Browning on 4 & 9 while B Davey received 8. Friendly Fridays’ had 29 players tee off playing a 2 ball Ambrose competition. The winners were B May & L Rhodes with 27&1/4 net, runners up J Browning & R Brooks with 30&1/2. The run down went to P King & J Handley 32 net, followed by K Rhodes & D May 33 net and E Warland & J McAntee 34&1/4. The Encouragement Award went to M Hassan & J Nunan. We are now teeing off at 3pm.
