Veterans

Last Monday the Veterans played a Stableford event. The winner was J. Pearce with 43 pts, runner up on a count back was C. Shannon from V. Wilson both had 38 pts. The rundown continued with M. McGarrity & A. Featherstone 36 pts, followed by I. Smith & B. Jones 35 pts and R. Brooks, G. Sippel & B. Brown with 34 pts. The ntp’s were received by C. Shannon on 4/13, V. Wilson on 8/17 & A. Brown received the ladies on 8/17. The Encouragement Award went to R. Featherstone.

Wednesday Sporters

Last Wednesday the Sporters played a Stroke 1-9 +10, 14 & 15 sponsored by John Potter. The winner with 43&2/3rd was J. McGrath, runner up was M. Crowther with 43&2/3rd. The rundown went to G. Sippel 47&2/3rd, L. Vandenbrink 48 net, A. Stick 48&2/3rd, followed by J. Potter with 49 net. The NAGA went to M. OReilly. The ntp’s were received by W. Maudsley on 4, G. Sippel received 8 while J. Browning received 9. This week is a 4BBB with the trophy donor to be confirmed. Next week will be sponsored by Wayne Gnech playing 18 holes of Stableford competition, that will be April 25th Anzac Day and will be a 1 pm Shotgun Start playing 18 holes.

 Friendly Fridays

We had 9 players playing a Stableford 10-18 competition for Friendly Friday. The winner with 26 pts was B. Jones, runner up A. Featherstone. The run down went to M. Leary & C. Greet with 23 pts and V. Wilson with 21 pts. It was quite interesting seeing the men teeing off the Ladies Tees. Tee Off time is still 3 pm see you all then.

 Saturday

Last Saturday was sponsored by the Girls. The winner on a count back was G. Balharry from Simon Fahey both had 66 net. The next best were A. Gill & S. Synott with 67 net, followed by D. Forsyth, M. McGarrity and M. Grayson with 68 net, T. Lynch & W. Jackson both had 69 net, G. Philp & J. Handley 70 net, then we had J. Buganey and A. Browning with 71 net and M. Surawski with 72 net. The ladies winner S. McKenzie with 74 net, the runner up was J. Baulch. The girls also sponsored pin shots on all holes received by 1/10 D. Mortimer, 2/11 B.Gotke, 3/12 T. Richardson, 4/13 B. Gotke, ladies 4/13 J. Baulch, 5/14 Simon Fahey, 6/15 T. Domjahn, 7/16 K. Dover, 8/17 G. Parker while the ladies was received by D. Wall and 9/18 A. Smith. The pro pin sponsored by Sugarloaf Bakery is currently being held by W. Jackson with 3.54 metres. This week is The Boonah Fishing Club Open Day. The following week is being sponsored by Beaudesert Softdrinks.

 Chookies

There was a couple of Chookies on Sunday, but we had no result to publish, so it will be held over until two weeks time as we have two Social Clubs on Sunday. One will tee off at 6.45 while the other one will tee off at 7.30.
