Veterans:
The Veterans had 30 players tee off for the final round of their championships. The winner was K Cook with 67 net, runner up was G Hunt with 68 net. The rundown went to D Forsyth & G Philp 72 net, T Russell & C Petrohilos 75 net, followed by R Patrick & R Stinson 76 net and B Cuningham, D Gittins & D Dann 77 net. The Best Gross for the day was Hunt with 78 off the stick. Pin Shots went to W Hill & G Hunt for the men while J Sippel received 8/17 for the ladies. The Encouragement Award went to R Humphrey while the Members Draw was won by D Forsyth. Next week will be a stablefored competition. The Champions for the Veterans for 2021 are G Hunt & K Cook.
Ladies:
Wednesday the Ladies had 6 players play a single Stableford competition sponsored by L Rhodes. The winner was H Roebig with 36 pts, runner up B Dover with 34 pts. J Sippel received a ball in the run down. Pin shot went to B Dover.
Sporters:
This week the Sporters was sponsored by The Butcher Co playing a stroke 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition. The winner was R Fitzgerald with 46 net, runner up G Hunt with 47 net. The ball run down went to G Searle with 48 net & L Vandenbrink with 49 net. Pin shots were received by W Gnech on 4, G Lutter received 8 while D Forsyth received 9. The Dugandan Dice winner was R Stinson. The best gross for the day was W Gnech with 55 off the stick. This week will be sponsored by G Searle playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition. Saturday:
Saturday we played The Keith & Sheila Bartholomew Memorial, playing a stableford competition. This was sponsored by The Bartholomew Family. We thank you for your continued support. The A Grade winner was W Gnech with 32 pts, B Grade winner was D Mortimer with 36 pts, while C Grade winner was R Anderson with 37 pts. The ball run down went to J Lynch with 36 pts, C Shannon 35 pts, G Philp 34 pts, N Toohey, G Clarke, P Rabbitt, S Francis & D Beazley with 33 pts followed by R Brooks, G Parker, A Leary 32 pts and B Lawrance, B Philp L Blunt, S Taylor & D Wall 31 pts.
