Wednesday the sporters will return with a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competiton sponsored by B Davey.
Friendly Friday
Friendly Fridays kicked off again for the year with a stableford competition. The winner was I Browning ocb from R Eacott with 22 pts, followed by W Martin with 21 pts. The run down went to J Browning, K Christensen & K Rhodes with 20 pts followed by V Christensen, P King & M Hassan with 18 pts. The pin shot was received by K Rhodes while J Handley received the NAGA.
Saturday
Saturday we held the Opening Day sponsored by Boonah BP. The A Grade winner & Monthly Medal winner was R Burnett with 67 net, runner up W Gnech 69 net ocb. B Grade winner was I Browning with 68 net, runner up B Davey 71 net, C Grade winner was P Rabbitt with 71 net, runner up C Shannon 73 net. The ladies winner was K Turner with 71 net, runner up J McAntee 73 net. The run down went to J Worley 69 net, K Wilson & J Browning 71 net followed by P King, C Wilson, J Wallace, M Sullivan, R Eacott, D Gittins, J Handley & G Philp with 73 net. Pin shots: G Ball & J McAntee received 4/13, R Burnett & K Turner received 8/17 while J Worley received 9/18. The Pro Pin on 4 is sponsored by Drummond Golf currently held by M Dickson with 1.3m. The Pro Pin on 17 is sponsored by Sugarloaf Bakery and currently held by K Turner with 3.6m. The Money Pins were received by R Burnett, C Shannon & J Handley. This week will be the Aqua Fitness Centre Open Day playing a 2 Ball Ambrose. Next week will be a stableford/monthly mug competition sponsored by The Girls. Timesheets are out now.
Sunday
We have the Waterford and the Rathdowney Social Clubs teeing off. If wanting a game you will be able to tee off after 8.30. Don’t forget Putt Putt will be on every Sunday in January from 10 to 4 and we have the Chook Run making a comeback on the 28th.
