Veterans:
Monday the Veterans had 33 players tee off playing a stableford competition. The winner was B May with 39 pts, runner up C Petroholis with 35 pts. The ball run went to R Burnett, D Mortimer, K Turner, D Dann, D Forsyth, W Bodetti, J Crichton & T Russell with 34 pts followed by S Dennis, T Lynch & W Hill with 33 pts. Pin shots were received by N Casey & D Forsyth while K Turner & M Maynard received the ladies. The Encouragement Award went to M Kuhnemann while the Members Draw jackpotteed. Next week will be a stableford competition.
Ladies:
Wednesday the ladies played a single stableford competition. The winner was T Reid Pocock ocb from runner up S Grace with 32 pts. Pin shot went to D Kuhnemann on 8/17. Tina also won the Accurate Drive.
Sporters:
Wednesday the Sporters was sponsored by R Cuneo from Boonah Jewellery & Gifts playing a stroke 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15 competition. The winner was M Crowther ocb from runner up M O’Reilly & J Handley with 48 net. Pin shot was received by B Lawrance on 9. The best gross for the day was B Lawrance with 54 off the stick. The Dugandan Dice winner was D Forsyth with 4 Aces. Sporters will be on Thursday this week due to course renovations, playing a 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6 competition, sponsored by Boonah Mitre 10. Next week will be the Fassifern Pub Day, playing a 1-9 hole competition.
Saturday:
Saturday we played The Fassifern Rugby League Old Boys Open Day. The Overall winner was C Philp ocb from the winner P McNiven with 40 pts. The runner up was G Martin with 39 pts, followed by K Sawtell 38 pts, A Lutter 37 pts, R Eacott & B Pearce 36 pts and G Clark with 35 pts ocb. The ladies winner was A Leary ocb from runner up S Grace with 35 pts, followed by J Pfingst 33 pts, K Turner 32 pts & D Wall 31 pts. The ball run down went to K Bridges & P Rabbitt 35 pts, C Shannon, W Hall & W Gnech 34 pts, B May, D Mortimer, H Perrem, C Wilson, M O’Reilly, G Maynard & T Pearce with 33 pts. The Social winner was B Ward with 72 net, runner up was W Antcliff ocb from T Cobbin with 74 net, followed by D Ward, D Willett & V Birchell 75 net. Pin shots went to P McNiven on 1/10, G May received 2/11, S Lutter received 3/12, M Herrington & A Tomlinson received 4/13, G Clark received 6/15, T Pearce received 7/16, B Broad & T Reid Pocock received 8/17 while B May received 9/18. W Hall & S Grace received the Accurate Drives. This week will be a 4 Ball Ambrose competition sponsored by Tony Hollands Funerals. This will be a 12.30 shot gun start. Next week will be sponsored by The Butcher Co playing a single stroke competition.
Pennants:
Sunday the B Grade Pennant side defeated Laidley in Boonah 4-1. S Bailey won 4/3, C Perrem won 4/3, A Parker lost 4/3, W Martin won 2/1 and M Herrington won 4/3.
