Veterans
Monday the Veterans played a stableford competition. The winner with 39 pts was R Parnell, runner up A Burns 37 pts ocb. The run down went to B Hall 37 pts, M Cufi, R Featherstone & R Fitzgerald 36 pts, followed by M Hassan & J Potter 35 pts and V Riley, A Jackson, A Featherstone, J Arthur, P Cooper & P Sheffield with 33 pts. Pins shots were received by J Potter on 4/13 while P Sheffield & J Burns received 8/17. The Eccouragement Award was received by G Sorenson and the Members Draw was received by R Parnell.
Sporters
Wednesday the Sporters was sponsored by D. Woolgar for Wally Woolgars Trophy. The winner was M Bell with 28 pts ocb from runner up R Brooks. The run down went to G Searle 27 pts, J McGrath 26 pts and J Potter 24 pts. Pin shots were received by D Forsyth on 13 and B May received 18. The Dugandan Dice winner this week was B May. This week will be the Glen Sippel Memorial Trophy playing a stroke 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15. Next week will be sponsored by D Webster playing a stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6.
Friendly Fridays’
Friendly Fridays’ had 15 golfers tee off playing a stroke back 9 competition. The winner was J Handley with 31 net, runner up S Riley with 33 net, followed by K Reinholdsson 34 net. The pin shot was received by W Maudsley, while the NAGA was received by G Henderson. This week we will be teeing off at 2.45. Be there at 2.30 to have your name down.
Saturday
Saturday was sponsored by Beaudesert Softdrinks. The winner was G Lutter ocb from runner up V Riley with 40 pts. The run down went to A Heit, M McGarrity & I Browning 39 pts, C Perrem, P King & C Wilson 38 pts, W Gnech 37 pts followed by M Simpson, B Lawrance, J Gillett & T Britton 36 pts and G Philp, J Shine, T Weatherhead, B May & R Brooks 35 pts. The ladies winner was K Cook with 36 pts, runner up R Featherstone ocb from K Turner with 35 pts. Pin shots were recieved by P King & D Wall on 4/13, M Gnech & A Brown received 8/17, while S Mudde received 9/18. The Pro Pin on no 4 is sponsored by Drummond Golf and current held by S Mudde with 83 cm. The Sugarloaf Bakery Pro Pin on 17 is currently held by J Browning with 1.51m. The new Money Pin was received by J McGrath (ask at the bar if you want to go in this weekly new pin). This week will be sponsored by some of the Members playing a stroke competition.
