Monday the Veterans played a Stableford competition. The winner was J. Arthur with 40 pts, runner up A. Featherstone 39 pts. The rundown went to G. Sippel 38 pts, C. Shannon & V. Riley 37 pts followed by J.Pearce 36 pts and J. Edwards 35 pts. Nearest the pins were received by G. Sippel 4/13, 8/17 was received by M. McGarrity while the ladies went to K. Cook. The Encouragement Award was received by K. Cook. The membership draw jackpotted.
Wednesday Sporters
Wednesday the sporters was sponsored by Scott Bennet playing 4BBB stableford 10-18 + 1, 5 & 6. The winners with 34 pts were R. Brooks & J. Potter, runners up were A. Stick & R. Brooks with 32 pts. The run down went to G. Parker & W. Hall with 30 pts, followed by A. Feathertone & L. Vandenbrink, G. Sippel & R. Cuneo and F. Johnson & P. Ward all with 28 pts. Nearest the pins were received by B. Hutchinson on 13, W. Maudsley received 17, while 18 was received by W. Hall. Wednesday will be sponsored by John Handley playing a stroke 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15. Next week will be sponsored by T. Lynch playing an 18 hole stableford competition, Shot Gun start at 1 pm.
Friendly Fridays
We had 10 players on Friday with the winner being B. Davey with 34 net, runner up A. Featherstone 35 net, followed by R. Featherstone and V. Wilson with 36 net. Nearest the pin was received by G. Saturday we played the Boonah Rotary Club Open Day. The Overall Winner was M. Bennet with 43 pts. The A Grade winner was J. Browning 39 pts, runner up N. Packman 38 pts, next best was J. McGrath 37 pts, followed by A. Bennett & A. Heit with 36 pts. B. Grade winner was J. Bonk 40 pts, runner up J. Comp 38 pts, next best was G. Philp 37 pts followed by D. Forsyth 36 pts and S. Bennet with 35 pts. C. Grade winner was M. Dickson 42 pts, runner up L. Vandenbrink 41 pts, followed by A. Stick, B. Hutchinson and B. Davey with 35 pts. Ladies winner was J. Baulch 34 pts, runner up D. Wall 33 pts. The Social winner was J. Hertweck, runner up B. Beasley, next best P. Gutzke and J. Beasley. Pins shots were on all holes and received by B. Beasley 1/10, 2/11 J. McGrath, 3/12 B. Freiberg 4/13 L. Vandenbrink with a hole in 1, 5/14 B. Feiberg, 6/15 P. Gutzke, 7/16 J. Bonk, 8/17 S. Francis and 9/18 A. Gill. Mens Long Drives were received by A. Gill (A grade) A. Hertweck (B grade) and (C grade) was received by J. Banks, while the ladies was received by D. Wall.
