Veterans
Monday the Veterans played a stableford competition. Both J Shine & C Greet had 37 pts, followed by V Christensen 36 pts and M Hassan 33 pts.
Ladies
Last Wednesday we played for Maureen Maynard’s trophy and the best score was Ellen Maegher with 36 stableford points and she beat Juleen Sippel on the countback. Scores were good as the course is in great condition thanks to our Superintendent and the volunteers on the mowers. Jo McAntee, Anne Brown and Kayleen Turner all had 35 points, Alison Leary 34, Linda Edwards and Vicki Bird 30, Jan Baulch, Margaret Kuhnemann and Jan Edwards 26 and Robyn Fitzpatrick and Fran Licciardo also played. We welcome our new member Carolyn Thomson who is putting in cards for her handicap. Pin shots went to Ellen, Jan Baulch and Alison and “chip in’s” were recorded for Vicki, Jo, Alison and Juleen. The draw for the Beryl Drady Match Play is done and 1st round matches to be played as per the fixture book. Good golfing girls and may all your putts drop in!
Sporters
Wednesday the Sporters was sponsored by W Wieland & A Stick playing a 4BBB stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15. The winners were B May & S Edwards with 32 pts, runners up J Gillett & M O’Reilly 31 pts. The run down went to G Parker & G Lutter 29 pts and R Cuneo & W Hall and J Potter & M Maudsley 28 pts. Pin shots were received by W Hall on 4, while B May received both 8 & 9.. The Dugandan Dice sponsored by the Dugandan Hotel was received by A Stick. This week will be sponsored by H Gwynne playing a stableford 10- 18 + 1, 5 & 6. Next week will be sponsored by J R Plant Hire playing a stableford 1-9 + 10, 14 & 15.
Friendly Friday
No Friendly Fridays this week due to the Public Holiday. Will return this week.
Saturday
Saturday was a club trophy playing a stableford competition. The winner was J Browning with 40 pts, runner up was J McGrath with 39 pts. The run down went to M Dickson, J Gillett, I Browning & T Weatherhead 38 pts, B Beasley & R Brooks 36 pts and W Gnech, S Francis & J Shine all with 35 pts. The ladies winner was J McAntee with 37 pts, runner up K Turner with 34 pts. Pin shots were received by J McAntee & C Shannon on 4/13, 8/17 was received by K Turner & J McGrath while 9/18 was received by B Spranklin. The Money Pin was received by B May with an Eagle. This week will be the Lions Open Day with 7.30 & 12.30 shot guns starts. Next week will be the Anzac Day Cup playing a stroke/monthly medal competition.
Sunday
We have a small Social Club playing this week, you will be able to play amongst them. Club house will be open at 8 am.
