Monday/Tuesday: We played a stableford competition. The winner was M Hassan with 37 pts, runner up G Sorensen with 36 pts.
Wednesday:
Ladies: The winner of the Glen Diners trophy was Di Kuhnemann on a three way count back from Jo McAntee and Marg Kuhnemann all having 73 net. Di also won both pins on 4 & 8 and Jo had the best putting score. Other scores were Sonia Reid with 76, Anna Tomlinson 77, Jan Baulch and Barb Hamilton 79. The qualifiers for the Beryl Drady match play are Di Kuhnemann who has a bye on the first round. Jo McAntee who plays Jan Baulch, Marg Kuhnemann plays Barb Hamilton and Sonia Reid plays Anna Tomlinson. The draw will be put on the notice board in the ladies room along with the conditions of match play and the time these matches have to be played by. Please take note of this so that you know what to do. The qualifiers for the business girls match play was played on Saturday the draw for this will also be on the board in the ladies room along with the match play conditions and times the matches are to be played by. Wednesday is a stableford competition for Lesley Rhodes trophy. Good golfing everyone from birdie.
9 Hole Competition: Wednesday a stableford front 9 competition was played, the winner was R Stinson ocb from runner up D Forsyth with 20 pts. Thursday/Friday The back 9 hole stableford competition was won by N Hooke with 17 pts.
Saturday: Saturday we played a single stroke/monthly medal competition, kindly sponsored by Rob Cuneo of Boonah Jewellery & Gifts. The A Grade winner was S Lutter ocb from runner up B Freiberg with 39 net. B Grade winner and Monthly Medal winner was R Philp with 67 net, runner up R Brooks with 68 net. C Grade winner was A Stick with 74 net, runner up B Brown with 75 net. The Ladies winner was L Hooke ocb from runner up J Baulch & J Wilson all with 78 net. The ball run down went to S Francis 70 net, B Gotke & M Hassan 71 net, J Browning, W Martin Jnr, B May, G Parker & K Milligan 72 net followed by A Bennett, W Gnech, T Grimshaw & K Rhodes 73 net, G Hunt & M Weber 74 net G Philp 75 net and I Browning, C Wilson, D Forsyth & J Grimsey 76 net. No pin shots or pro pins due to the caronavirus. The Championships have now been tentively booked for October 24th, 25th, and the 31st with the final day being Saturday 7th November due to the school holidays. Mens & Ladies Foursomes are on the 28th June.
Sunday: We have a Social Club teeing off at 7.30. You will be able to play amongst them if walking. Please ring the club to make a booking as we have strict regulations of play in leiu of the caronavirus.
