Veterans: The Veterans played a single stroke competition. The winner was K Kirgis with 67 net, runner up M Sim 70 net. The ball run down went to P Cooper, D Forsyth & T Lynch 71 net, followed by R Patrick 73 net, G Philp 74 net, J Sippel & P DeBeus 75 net and M Crowther 77 net. The best gross for the day was received by T Lynch with 81 off the stick. Pin shots were received by E Windolf & L Hooke on 8/17 while C Shannon & M Maynard received 9/18. N Casey received the Encouragement award while T Lynch received the Members Draw. Tomorrow is a stableford competition, with names needed for the Canungra Fassifern Day next week. Ladies The Aussie Hotel was the sponsor of our monthly medal competition last week and the winner was Linda Hooke who received her first medal. Congratulations Linda on a good score of 72 net.
